It felt good for once to have Machai a little jealous.

" so what movie you have in mind?" Darrin ask holding my hand as we walked in the movie theater.

" hmm maybe we could watch Creed 2"

" yea I heard it was pretty good"

We walked inside purchasing our tickets and getting some snacks that consisted of butter popcorn, sourpatch keys, and 2 slushies.

We picked us a spot in the middle section of the theater.

" something about movie theater popcorn are the best." Darrin said getting him a handful.

" you ain't neva lied" I said grabbing me some too.

After the movie

After throwing our trash away we left the theaters. Since I had two more hours to spare we stop by this restaurant to eat some real food.

" I'm glad to be able to spend time with you Mya. I never thought I'll have the guts too"

" wow I wish you would have told me earlier who knows where this relationship would be by now"

He nodded his head agreeing.

For some odd reason I kept sensing that something was wrong with him.

" Hey is everything okay"

" yea why would you say that" he said raising his eyebrow

See now I felt stupid for even asking.

" it's nothing just forget I ever ask"

" no it's fine, imma go to the bathroom" he said getting up real quick while coughing a little.

My phone admittedly vibrated in my purse.

I check to see it was Brandy.

I looked up to see Darrin was coming fixing his clothes.

" sorry about that"

" no you're fine"

" have you order yet ?" He asked me

" no I'm not sure what I want to get" I said looking at the food.

" Shrimp Scampi is pretty good"

" well Shrimp Scampi it is" I said closing up the menu.

The server finally came giving our orders. Surprisingly it didn't take long for our food to come.

" wow you did not lie at all" I said tasting the delicious food.

" I told you ... it's one of my favorite entree"

After for a minute I decided to play 21 questions.

" soooo where you from?"

" Chicago born and raised what about you"

" From here New York, New York"

" okay okay so wha-"

All of a sudden he started coughing uncontrollably.

Thank God our server notice us. She fixed us a glass of water.
