Kicks' P.O.V.

It was a warm summer day. I had just moved my shop here and had finished getting it all set up. No one had come in yet, but it shouldn't be a long wait.

Before I knew it, the first person who walked into my shop just so happened to be the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on!

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I walked up to the new shop in my (F/C) dress. You see, I started a tradition. Once a year, (V/N) hosts an annual animal dance. I didn't plan on bringing someone with me this year, though...

I walked up to the new shop and stood in front of the door. "Kicks". Sounds nice... I opened the front door to find a weird animal staring at me!

"Um...hello?", I said shyly, as I waved. Suddenly he snapped back into reality and looked away from me, his face a little flustered.

"Ahem...sorry 'bout that.", he uneasily chuckled. "I'm Kicks!", he stuck out his paw for me to shake. I did so, and I swear I saw him blush again... "(Y/N)!", I replied.

He had bright brown eyes, black and white fur, clean enough to look like silk, and wore beige overalls. And he looked kinda cute.

Kicks P.O.V.

'Pull it together, Kicks!', I scolded myself. She had the most beautiful eyes, a sparkling (F/C) dress, and what looked like the softest (H/C) hair. I just couldn't help but be mesmerized by her angelic beauty.

Of course, while I was pondering her (Y/N)'s beauty, I was staring at her again. I broke my gaze and got all flustered again.

(Y/N) gave me a skeptical look. "Are you okay?" "I'm quite all right, mate.", I nervously replied. "Go ahead and see if there's anything you like!"

As (Y/N) walked through my store, I tried my best not to look at her, because I knew if I did, I would be staring at her again.

She stopped in front of these beautiful (F/C) slippers. I could see her eyes sparkling from just looking at them. "Well, don't just stand there.", I said with a smile. "Have a seat!"

She sat down on a small stool and lifted her feet up. I removed her current shoes and started putting on the slippers.

While I did so, I couldn't help but notice how much she was blushing. "You look awfully cute when you blush.", I remarked, immediately questioning what the heck I just said. This made her blush even more.

The slippers fit on (Y/N) perfectly. "Fit for a princess!", I cheered, a small blush creeping across my face. "Thank you, Kicks."

"So, goin' anywhere special, tonight?", I asked, kinda hoping she was free. "Well...", she mumbled. "There is this dance we have once a year...but I don't have anyone to go with." I just formed an idea!

"M'lady, it would do me the honors, if you went to the dance with me.", I spoke as I knelt on one knee. (Y/N) was blushing intensely now. "Of-of c-c-cou-ourse!", she stuttered, her face all flustered.

I felt like jumping for joy. I was so happy! Without hesitation, I jumped up and kissed (Y/N). It gave me a warm feeling. I didn't want to do anything else, because this moment was perfect.

After we parted the kiss, we were both a flustered mess. "Is it too early to say I love you?", I asked, a sly smile on my face. "Of course not!", she replied, with the cutest smile.

"Well then...I love you..."
