(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

It was a dark and stormy night... I put on my monster mask and got ready to scare the pants off of the villagers! If they wore pants, that is...

I ran outside ad started scaring each villager. I was rewarded with some candy! It wasn't for me, though. I was saving it for someone special. Someone who only appears once a year...

As I was getting ready to scare another villager, I saw my favorite person. Jack stood giving spooky themed items to certain villagers.

I ran up to him, candy in hand. I wanted to tell him how I truly felt. Maybe he felt the same?

"Jack!", I shouted as I ran up to him. He waved me down as he spoke. "Hey (Y/N)!" I handed him the candy, as I started getting nervous.

"Thanks!", Jack said as he took the candy from me. He paused for a moment, causing a confused look to form on my face. Jack looked at me, then pulled out what looked like a small ring.

"I've been saving this item just for you.", he said, slipping the ring on me. Taking a closer look, it appeared to be a small pumpkin ring. My heart skipped a beat.

"T-t-thank y-you!", I stuttered, blushing like crazy. I took a deep breath and looked him in the eyes.

"Would you like to go on a date with me?!", I blurted out, my face a deep shade of red. He chuckled. "You know I only appear once a year, right?" I looked down in shame. "But next year...", he continued, to my surprise. "I'd love to!"

Tears formed in my eyes as I embrace the Jack 'o lantern head. I loved him and I knew he loved me. I couldn't wait for our date!

I am incredibly sorry this chapter was so short. Jack isn't one of my favorites, but I did the best I could. Maybe one day I'll try and rewrite it, but not today. Sorry. I hope you enjoyed it. Bye, for now!👋
