N: Which she said she won't interfere with

Nick adds cutting me off

Y/n: Ok, but still I don' know why you don't think it's awkward but I do. Nick its weird for me, I mean she use to be your girlfriend and now she staying at our house I just don't trust her.

I explain nervously as Nick intertwines his fingers into mine

N: Babe she isn't gonna try anything she just needs a place to stay. Plus the way I feel about you can't be changed I love you and our family and no one not even my ex can change that. So just give her a chance I know your a nice person

He says as I lightly nod agreeing to what he said

Y/n: Alright I guess I can give her a chance but I'm warning you Nicholas Carter Mara you better be smart cause 

I state seriously as he lightly chuckles brightening the mood

N: Nothing is going to happen between me and Emma ok baby

I nod as he attached our lips together passionately kissing me as I kiss back smiling

N: I mean how can I resist these lips

He says into the kiss as I giggle. We kiss for a bit as I pull back catching my breath. We sit up at Nick plays with hair

N: So I'm going go make your favourite breakfast. Why don't you get changed and come downstairs. And please try giving her chance

He asks as I smile

Y/n: Ok Fine but only for my love

I answer as he kisses my head

N: That's my girl; I love you, now hurry I'm waiting for you cause I won't eat until your there

I grin as his sweet little gestures that warm my heart. I then get out of the bed walking over to the bathroom.

I was just walking downstairs as I look around to see no Emma. Hey maybe she got the picture and left us alone. I walk to the kitchen to see Nick making French toast. I smile biting my lip as I get to him.

I stand beside him as I interlock my arms in his kissing the side of his neck.

Y/n: You look hot cooking

I say as he giggles revealing his dimples

N: Mhm really??

He turns around looking at me in admiration making my complete as I nod smiling.

N: Why thank you my love

He answers brushing his hand through my wet hair

N: You hungry

I nod making him chuckle and rub my baby bump. He leans in for a kiss as I do the same.

E: Goodmorning

I roll my eyes pulling back as I hear Emma's voice. Great she's here

Nick and I look her as she smiles innocently; devilishly I bet from the inside. Nick grabs my hand lightly squeezing it. Me knowing him to well I knew what he meant he wanted me to offer her breakfast.

Y/n: Emma... um why don't you join us for um breakfast

I say as this was one of the most awkwardly moments ever

E: Oh really I don't mean to intrude

She adds all fake and sweet and I mean it's not like she should care it isn't like she hasn't already intruded

E: Ok but if you insist

She answers walking towards us. Nick and I set the table as she watches us; I wonder what goes inside her hand. Like honestly what was she planning with all that thinking.

Once the table is set Nick and I take a seat as she sits directly in front of him. We start to eat as I mostly stay quite not really knowing what to say.

E: So um when did you two meet or I mean get together

Emma asks making Nick and I glance up at her

Y/n: We started dating 2 years ago

I state as she nods raising one of her eyebrows

E: Interesting.... And now you have a baby on the way

She say as I nod somehow making her chuckle

E: Nick you think your ready for another responsibility

She says as Nick lightly scoffs

N: Of course and I have Y/n with me

He smiles as I turn my head looking at him grinning

E: I see you two must be really in love...anyways where's Maya

Emma asks as I give her a confused look, why would she care

N: She-

Y/n: She's asleep, she's usually wakes up in a hour or two

I answer quickly 

E: So does she know about me

Emma declares as Nick shakes his head

N: Emma no she doesn't. First she's three, second you were never there for here. You never even bothered to look at her face when she was born, and third Y/n is her mother

Nick states firmly as Emma looks at us with dissatisfaction

E: I can understand but you know sometimes I just wonder what it would have been like to have a family.

She states emotionally as I clench my jaw fisting my hand. Man I don't know if it was the hormones for being pregnant or the fact that Emma was really getting on my nerves.

N: Well you chose something else

Nick says lightly shrugging

E: Anyways enough of the emotionally stuff. Nick you look so good especially with this little stubble coming in. WOW

She says in a flirty tone lightly fixing her hair. I try ignoring her clear attempt on my man because he asked me to be nice but how dare she I'm legit sitting right here. We both ignore her comment, as I hear Maya calling from upstairs.

I look over at Nick as he could hear her too

Y/n: I'm gonna get her

N: Ok

He smiles as I get off the chair and make my way upstairs.
