"Follow me" He ignored my previous statement. I followed him as he went towards the elevator. It opened with a ding and seconds later, we were both making our way up.

"Why did you wake me up?"

"Training"

"But the others are still asleep. Can't we just wait till they wake up?"

"No, we can't" He paused "Please do not ask any more questions"

"I will"

"And I would not reply you"

"Then I'll go back" I paused "Look here, I don't mean to sound rude but I need to know why you're doing this"

"I'll tell you while you're training"

The elevator opened and we were back in the dark cave again. At least, I knew my way. The entrance was just a dot from the elevator but as we took more steps, it became bigger and the view was clearer.

Once we got out, fresh cold breeze hit me like a pile of bricks. The temperature had dropped and the wind was harsh against my skin. I wrapped both my arms around myself to make me warmer as I let out a shaky breath. With the pajamas I had on, I could feel how cold it was. I couldn't imagine how cold it was for Lux. He was wearing a light top and sweatpants.

"It's cold out here"

"It won't kill you"

"It would" I paused "What's the training all about?"

"I'll go easy on you today. Since you know nothing about your body psychologically, I might as well build you up physically. You're just going to build up those arm muscles by cutting firewood" He said, pointing at the logs of wood I didn't notice before. They were long and big, I could bet they were gotten from coconut trees. They were arranged in order like someone had deliberately placed it there for me. They were over ten all together and there was absolutely no way I was going to cut them by myself.

"I can't do this" I turned to leave. His hand met my upper arm to hold me back. I flinched and pulled my arm away from his. I rubbed my arm repeatedly to reduce the after effect of the burn. As usual, his hand was very hot but it was far hotter than usual.

"Your hand is hot" I pointed out "How do you manage to do that?"

"I'm not doing anything. I expected this to happen between you and Ignis"

"Do you have any idea why it's like that?"

"No" He said and we stood there for seconds. He looked like he was deep in thoughts as he scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. I, on the other hand was waiting for him to tell me why his hand felt like it was soaked in hot larva. He was right when he said he expected it from Ignis. He had the fire powers so it would only made sense if his hand felt like fire. "Let's try this again." He held up his fingers "Hold out your hand"

I spread my fingers in front of me and he brought his towards mine. At first, I felt the warmth of his hand from a distance. He took it slow, bringing his hand towards mine like an animal about to attack it's prey. When his hand was just inches away from mine, it got hotter but not what I couldn't bear. The tip of his fingers touched mine and just like I thought it would be, it was hot.

I didn't flinch or pull away. Though, it was hot but it wasn't as hot as it was before.

Soon enough, his palm was directly above mine with out fingers touching each other. I pushed my palm upwards till both our hands were in direct contact. I might've taken it fast but it didn't look like he was planning on doing it.

"I knew it!" We separated immediately like kids caught stealing candy. I let my hand fall beside me and Lux folded his arms as we discovered who the voice belonged to.

Axel and Ignis came walking out of the entrance. "You better start baking those cookies boy" Ignore said, tapping his foot on the ground.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Lux asked in frustration.

"What am I doing here?" Ignis asked "Don't put his on me dude, you're the one in trouble here"

"What do you mean trouble?"

"I mean, she just got here yesterday and you're already plotting a romance story?" He asked "I wanted to hit on her first!"

"I wasn't going to hit on her_"

"Keep saying that to yourself. I saw you holding her hand. We've literally been her for a minute spying on you guys"

"First, spying on us is rude and if you were here just five minutes ago, you would've seen the reason why I did that"

Lux and Ignis started throwing comebacks at each other. I had a feeling they were always like this. Lux could be bossy and all but when it came to dealing with Ignis, they could spend a whole day arguing about a dumb topic. For instance, how could they possibly be arguing about a single touch?

I walked over to the firewood and picked up the axe. Only Axel noticed me because Lux and Ignis were still arguing about the same topic. I heard Ignis say something like "You know I saw the Mexican lady first and she winked at me, not you!"

I didn't know how the conversation got there. I mean, I just stopped paying attention for a minute. How did a Mexican last get into the argument.

Before I knew what I was doing, I carried the axe above my head to hit the wood but it went backwards and I followed it because it was way too heavy. I fell on my butt and luckily not on the axe.

"Jesus, she can't lift a single axe?"

I'm very sorry for the late update. No excuses, I was lazy.
