chapter 23
Elphaba's POV
I walked up to Fiyero and wrapped my arms around him. he was so brave and fearless, if only I could repay him.
"Fae." he whispered as he pulled me into a kiss. "we'll make this work I promise" he said.
"Fiyero?" Glinda called as she picked up a letter from the post box. "it's for you....." she said as she handed it to Fiyero.
Fiyero pointed out the Oz logo printed on the back.
"it's from the wizard" he gasped.
He tore the letter open and read it through.

Dear Mr Tigulaar
The Wizard wishes to receive your presence.
We'll hopefully see you soon.
Oz.

I read through the letter one-thousand times.
Why after all these years?
Fiyero looked at me for a long time, before I walked off to look for the Grimmerie.
"Fae...." he exclaimed
where was that thing?
I finally found it and walked back into the living room.
I commanded Fiyero to sit down, he obeyed.
"what are you doing Fae?" he asked.
I said nothing.
I started chanting this spell which turned living objects into live-living-human-beings.
he'd finally be human again.
Fiyero blacked out for a second.
suddenly a beam of light escaped from Fiyero and here he was, skin and all, his hair looked the same and his pants (must not forget about those pants)
"Fae!" he smiled as he flung his arms around me and kissed me everywhere.
"Yero...." I laughed as he stood up and hugged Glinda too. Glinda sat back down on the couch.
"Glinda?" I asked. I sat down next to her as she started to cry.
"what's the matter?" I whispered as I hugged her close.
"are you not worried what will happen to him Elphaba?" she cried.
"he's strong Glin, he'll be alright" I stroked her hair gently.
she sat up and looked at me with teary eyes.
"he's not as strong as you think" she said as she stood up and walked out the door.
