Once Ezra was done fixing Jessica's hair she looked at herself in the mirror once more.

"Oh wow." Jessica fluffed her hair. "It's absolutely beautiful."

Her hair was lightly curled. Some waves were here and there. Ezra had parted her hair to the side and pinned some strays to stay out of her eyes.

"Thank you, Ezra." Jessica said as she turned to the woman.

"You're quite welcome." The woman went to leave but turned around. "Oh, one more thing."

Ezra handed Jessica some red lipstick.

"Thank you." Jessica took the lipstick and applied it to her lips. Now, she was truly ready.

Jessica grabbed her hat and fixed it atop her head. Then she stepped out of the dressing room and into the open. As she took one final step she heard something fall to the floor and shatter.

"I'm...uh...um..." Dean stuttered as he looked at the shattered glass on the floor. His cheeks were tainted pink as he looked at Jessica here and there. "Sorry." Dean looked towards Ezra and cleared his throat.

"Don't sweat it." Ezra replied calmly.

Dean's eyes finally locked onto Jessica and he looked her up and down. "Whoa."

Jessica felt herself blush. "I could say the same thing about you."

Dean smirked.

"Let's get back on track." Eliot said snapping the two lovebirds out of their trance.

"Right." Dean nodded his head.

"Here." Ezra handed Jessica her angel blade.

"Thank you."

"Let's go check out that house you were talking about." Eliot said as he looked at Dean. "Maybe it's been built already."

Dean nodded his head. He turned towards Jessica and sighed sadly.

"We're gonna have to do this just me and him. I'm sorry."

Jessica nodded her head. "I was kind of getting that vibe off of you."

Dean smiled and leaned towards Jessica. He placed his lips on hers and kissed her passionately.

"Come back in one piece." Jessica whispered.

Dean winked at her. "I always do." Then, he left the shop with Eliot.

"Okay honey," Ezra pulled out a large book. "Let's do some lookin'. See what kills a god."

"Yes ma'am." Jessica smiled and pulled up a seat next to Ezra.

A few hours had passed by. Ezra had disappeared to the back of the shop. Minutes later she came back holding what looked like a stick dipped in blood.

"Hey." Dean came walking into the shop. Jessica smiled at him.

Ezra placed the stick on the shops counter.

"That's it?" Dean asked.

"That," Ezra started. "Is a 1,000-year-old olive carved by vestal virgins and dipped in the blood of—you don't want to know."

Dean looked down at the branch.

"Pulling this together wasn't easy." Ezra stated. "You and Ness both owe me, smoothie."
