Since you've never had someone to teach you how to sword fight, Caspian has taken it on himself to help you. His proposal to teach you came out of nowhere though. The two of you have spoken a few times, often very enjoyable conversations, and he has seen you struggle to train with Reepicheep, but there has not been any reason for him to teach you. You aren't exactly good friends and now, at Cair Paravel, there are enough Narnians that could teach you, but he had insisted. His reason? You needed to be able to protect yourself. The actual reason? It's another excuse to spend more time with you and get to know each other.
