Eustace Scrubb was the most arrogant boy your school had ever seen. It was never a wonder that student picked on him. All the tantrums he threw after being insulted only made it more fun for the bullies that terrorized the school. But ever since the summer he had changed. Changed in a good way.
No longer did Eustace Scrubb yell that he was going to tell the headmaster or that there was no point in making fun of him because he was smarter than everyone else. All he did now was ignore them or surprise everyone with a smart remark.
And that's exactly what you watch him do now. He's just sitting there, not minding what others have to say about him. You're a bit jealous actually, you wish you could simply ignore what everyone has to say about you. But you realize that all you have to do is be like Eustace. -that's a sentence you'd never though you'd say to yourself-
So you walk up to him, take a deep breath and sit down. Eustace is surprised at your sudden company and wonders what the bullies have set you up to. Fortunately, it's nothing like that and you only smile at him.
