Say hello to May, and as we celebrate Mental Awareness month. I want to know some of your healthy coping mechanisms, what is it that you engage yourselves in during this difficult time? Personally speaking, unfortunately, I've not been coping well enough.

There are days and moments I feel good to be able to just wake up and be grateful I actually woke up, and then there are days I'm wondering why the hell the sun is out and feeling completely down

There are days and moments I feel good to be able to just wake up and be grateful I actually woke up, and then there are days I'm wondering why the hell the sun is out and feeling completely down. Coming from a culture that sees mental health has not only a weakness but a petty attempt in seeking attention (Yes, people do believe if you're hurting mentally it's just a way of getting attention) it can be pretty hard trying to explain why you're feeling depressed and down when you're not even sure why you're feeling the way you do.


Mental health is important guys, do take care of yourselves.
