Decisions

After the long day in the mall, we finally went home. For a very long time, it's only now that I knew Jake is only a few streets away from our house here in Alabang Village.

Malay ko ba. I'm not curious on that nerd and his whereabouts. Kung hindi pa namin siya ibinaba ni Mang George sa bahay nila ay hindi ko talaga malalaman. Not that I'm interested, it's just that it would be my advantage the he just lives nearby. At least pag may kailangan sa makeover niya madali na lang siyang puntahan.

I'm so glad that he agreed on my plan for Michael's revenge. I can't help but feel guilty of what I am doing. But I want Michael to teach a lesson. Kumbaga, a dose of his own medicine.

"Raine Anak!"

"Mom!"

I'm so glad to see her again. It's been 2 months na silang out of the country ni daddy.

"Where's Dad?"

"He's still in New York."

"I miss you mom. Bakit ngayon ka lang?" I hugged her tight. I missed her so much.

Para kaming mag-best friend lang ni mommy kung magturingan. She knows all my secrets including my undying love for Michael. But I'm having second thoughts on telling her about him using me for Jobel.

"How's your date with Michael?"

"Mom, I'm not on a date. At saka hindi si Michael ang kasama ko si Jake."

"Who's Jake? Is he your boyfriend?"

"Of course not! He is just a classmate. I'm helping him on a project. If you can only see how he looks he's not my type."

"Fine. Sinabi mo yan. By the way, I have lots of pasalubong for you."

Mom gave me 3 new bags. Ferragamo, Gucci and a Coach bag. Pandagdag sa aking collections.

Finally it's Friday!

We're having a meeting on the fund raising plans para sa charity project. I also have a meeting sa editorial staff ng schoolpaper after this. Our first issue will finally be released next week. Being the editor-in-chief, nakakadagdag pa ito sa stress ko.

"This is the summary of our assignments ha. Makinig kayo." I'm reading the minutes of the meetinh on my note.

"We will have a band concert tentatively sked last Friday of November for our fund-raising campaign. Here are the assignments. Michael to coordinate with the bands who will perform. Casey for the sponsors and venue. Mildred for the advertising materials and Jake and I to coordinate with the charitable institution. I need output this week guys. Parang-awa niyo na. Be cooperative." I closed my Ipad.

Mas maganda sana kung si Michael ang ka-partner ko. The closer to the enemy, the better. Pero nag-beg-off siya dahil daw sa mga activities sa student council. Si Casey sana ang gusto kong kasama kaso busy naman siya sa pagre-rehearse sa ballet. She got the part again dun play kung saan siya napatalsik dati. Her name was cleared and probably her Dad did something about it. It left me no choice to give her a lighter task. Si Mildred naman may piano recital na pinaghahandaan. Kaya hayun pagtya-tyagaan ko na naman si Jake.

Medyo nasasanay na si Jake sa contact lenses. But I asked him to wear his eye glasses pa rin para di agad mahalata ang kanyang transformation. Tomorrow is our shopping day para sa mga new outfits niya. Nag-schedule rin ako ng session kay Ms. Abby Enriquez, para sa personality development. Baka may mai-improve pa sa kanya.

Aba! Malaki-laki na rin nagagastos ko sa kanya. Dapat siguraduhin niyang mapapadapa niya si Michael sa popularity.
