CHAPTER FOUR

DRISHTI'S POV - 

"Dishi beta, chalo uth ja." Daddy said. 

"No daddy, five minutes." I whined. 

"I dony want to be killed by your mom. Aaj uth ja, kal sone dunga." he said. 

"Please daddy ki princess ho na?" he asked, 

"Ha daddy." I said and sat on the bed and stretched. 

"Aaj haldi hai aur fir shaadi, iss liye bahut kaam hain, chal ready ho ja." daddy said. 

"Thikh hai." I said and hugged daddy and then he left. 

I am so used to daddy waking me up, he is the only one who can do this task without getting kicked by me or maybe even getting murdered. Even during exams he is the one who wakes up early to wake me up, even during the weekends. He even makes sure that I get a good sleep by checking the time I slept and then waking me up accordingly. What would I do without him god?

I brushed these thoughts of my brain and went to get ready. We were going to the hotel right now for the wedding, so even the haldi will be there only. 

I decided to wear casuals and then change over there itself. Why should I get ready from home itself? I went down and saw every body ready. Looks like, I was not the only genius who decided not to get ready for haldi from home it. 

"Dishi, aise haldi main aane wali hai kya?" mumma asked. 

"Maine socha ki hotl mein change kar loongi." I said

"Kitni baar kaha hai ki sochne ka kaam tera nahi hai." Badi ma said. 

"Chodo ma, its gettig leat. Dishi, hotel mein change kar len. Ab chalo." Di said and saved me from both badi ma and mumma.

We reached the hotel and the groom's family and guests were already there. 

"Drishti, are you wearing this for the haldi?" Pankhuri bhabhi asked. 

"Why is everyone asking me that only?" I whined.

 "Kaam itne mahan jo karti hain." Di said. 

"She thought that she will change here in the hotel" Anu said. 

"Dekh Anu aur Ani tere se samajhdar hain." Di joked. 

"Can I go change now?" I asked.

"Par we got only the brides and grooms rooms until now." bhabhi said. 

"Its okay, you change in my room." di said and I went to her room with my bag. 

I went to di's room and quickly changed my clothes, I was tying my blouse when I felt that someone entered the room, I thought that it was di so I did not say anything. I then heard a voice, "Minal, babes. You there?" I heard a man's voice and I jumped back and turned.
