warnings: cursing

felix was always a lone wolf. he spent his time training alone, eating dinner alone, and everything else. it's not as if he didn't have any friends. no, felix had many friends. he just preferred to be alone.

after a slightly lonely training session, felix checked his pocket watch. his eyes widened as he realized he was late for dinner. he walked into the dining hall to see everyone seated and chattering away while eating. he grabbed his dinner and headed towards a table alone, but loud laughter caught his attention.

you were sitting with the students instead of with the other professors and it seemed as if you and nearly all of the girls at garreg mach were engaged in a heated conversation. as he walked by, he couldn't help but eavesdrop.

"you really think he's number one?" hilda questioned, "like, that means he beats out dimitri or even ferdinand!"

"of course!" you said back, "ferdinand is three, dimitri is two, and felix is definitely number one."

suddenly, felix was intrigued. he turned in his heel and set his plate down next to yours. everyone at the table turned their heads towards him and your cheeks flushed.

"what am i number one about?" he asked.

"uh- nothing!" you squeaked out, "we were just joking around-"

"y/n thinks you're the most handsome man at the school!" lysithea interrupted.

felix raised his eyebrow and looked over at you. "is that so?"

you looked at him, still flushed. he couldn't help but slightly admire you as you stumbled for words. your hair, your eyes, your lips. you must've caught onto his staring because suddenly you stood up and excused yourself from the table.

felix sighed and continued to eat dinner. he wasn't alone, but now that you had left he felt lonely.

after dinner, he decided to go to the blue lions classroom to catch up on some studying. as he opened the door and walked in, but you sitting at your desk caught his attention. you hadn't noticed him yet, so he walked up to you and gently took your book out of your hands.

you looked up. "oh, felix. listen, i'm sorry about dinner, we were just talking and it all came up and-"

you were stopped by lips pressing against your cheek. felix pulled away and gently traced your jawline and cheekbone before standing up completely.

"just so you know," he smiled, "in my top ten, you're number one as well."
