You decide to stay polite and tell the child that they are your friends. Friends you can't stand the sight of and only talk to in monosyllabic words, but nevertheless friends. It nods at you, points to a nearby hut and then walks away without another word. You stand there and watch it disappear back into the rainforest as you wonder what the hell was wrong with that child.

In the end, you still walk over to the aforementioned hut and are immediately greeted by a small woman with a big toothy grin. She says something to you in a language that is sounding more and more like Québécois French, and then thrusts a weird green fruit into your hands. It takes a while before you realize it's a guanábana. Prickly on the outside and sweet and sour on the inside, it reminds you of dear Dr. Higginsbottom who is probably tucked in bed at home right now, secretly eating peanut butter on celery sticks like the heathen he is.

Now no longer being able to deny your inner Dr. Higginsbottom, you turn to the woman and use your deluxe premium gold status member level Spanish skills to ask her when they start serving lunch around here.

"Dónde está la bibiloteca?" You ask.

The woman sighs heavily at your question and gives you a comforting pat on the back.

"Tu vas mourir ici, mon ami." she answers before once again leaving you to stand alone in the manner that seems to be popular around here.

You stare back down at the fruit in your hands and ponder over the words she had just spoken to you. 'Mon ami'.......'my friend'.......no doubt that lady had just been speaking French and not telling you about indigenous lunch-

Then a second realization hits you, if there is not going to be any lunch and this guanábana was meant to be your only sustenance, then how the hell does that lady expect you to eat it without a knife?!

What in the world is going on here!
