Things were awkward between Lucas and I for 7 years. We both got into the same collage too. It was the last day before summer break. I decided I was ready.
"Lucas?"
"Riley."
"I'm ready."
"You mean..."
"Yes. I do mean..."
He smiled.
"I'll meet you there at 6 tomorrow."
Okay.
"Love you babe."
"Love you."
Maya was no longer my best friend. Apparently she was hitting on Lucas and kissed him when she knew that I liked him. But I'm considering forgiving her after all these years.
