Maya:
The next day Riley and I walked into history and Lucas was talking to Farkle. I noticed that he looked nervous but I didn't say anything, even to Riley. Mr. Mattgews had an early teacher's meeting so we had five extra minutes of talk time.
"So Riles, want me to plan another 'double date' this week?"
"Of corse."
"Unless Lucas asks you out first" i said in a teasing tone.
"Oh Maya, there is no way that he could aske me out! I mean really. Its not like I'm gonna turn around and he'll ask me out. I doesn't work like that." She turned around to demonstrate and standing right there was Lucas.
"What doesn't work like that?"
Uh-oh.
Farkle:
