BBC Merlin x Reader

Ahhh, Merlin... I love him so much so I don't want him to suffer anymore!!!
Anywho, i couldn't find any with a jealous reader, so i thought 'To hell with it, I'll make one.' Lmfao i think this turned out better than expected. F/f means favourite flower

Y/n P. O. V

I came back from the market, carrying some herbs that my close family friend, Gaius, had asked for. I took a quick look, and saw that I missed a few stuff from the long list that reached all the way to the ground. "Oh my..." I stated. "Hey Y/n!" I turned around and saw my one and only crush, Merlin. "What are you doing?" He asked. "I came back from the  market, I have a whole scroll written by Gaius, and I'm feeling like an idiot. I forgot some items." I said in one breath. "Ouch, that's sad. Would you like to meet up later?" "MERLIN!!!" We heard Arthur shout. "IN A MINUTE!!!  What a clotpole." I couldn't help but laugh. "You two act like an old married couple." I joked. He placed a hand over his chest, pretending to be offended. "How dare you?" I simply shrugged, with a smile on my face. "MERLIN!!!" "Anyway,  I should get going. See you later, Merlin." "See you later, Y/n!" I smiled and climbed up the stairs to see Gaius. "Hello Gaius, here you go." "Thank you. Oh good, you missed some stuff, but I found out we still have some." Okay... I nodded my head and went to see my best friend, Gwen. "Hello Gwen." "Hello Y/n. How have you been? Anything new or interesting?" "Not recently."
She was the only one who knew that I love Merlin, so yeah. She would always ask the same question.

Time skip cause it be midnight here in a few mins

I met up with Merlin, and we started talking alot. We talked through the whole day.
"Hey Merlin?" "Yes Y/n?" "Have you ever been in love?" I asked. He nodded, and I felt a but of hope spark through me. "I have been in love, ever since I met the right girl. I still miss her though." "W-What do you mean miss her?" "Remember that druid girl, Freya?" My heart instantly sank. Ofcourse I remember her, she kissed Merlin and that was all he would talk about. "Yeah?" "Well, I learned to love because of her." I immediately stood up. "Y/n where are you going?" I simply walked towards the village. "I'm going to retire for the night, send regards to Gaius." Gwen saw me through her window and immediately opened the door. I was angry by then. "What's wrong, Y/n?" She asks. "I'm really upset right now."

"Did Merlin talk about  Freya again?" I nodded, and she just came and hugged me. I simply hugged back and cried to sleep that night.

The next morning

I was cleaning up the Lady Morgana's chambers, she also knew about me loving Merlin, but she never wanted to push the subject.

As I was cleaning, I started singing an old song the ancient dragon down in the dungeons taught me.

After I sang the last note, I felt a presence. I saw Merlin and ignored him. "What's up with you? You left me yesterday. What was that for?"
"Does it really matter?" "Yes it does, because you're my best friend." "That's the thing! You'll only ever think of me as a friend! But the problem is I've loved you even before you met Freya. But ever since you kissed her, you haven't shut up about her. You said it yourself, you love her!" By then I was in full tears and ran out the room. I went to the only people who would understand me, Gwen and Morgana.

I saw them out in the gardens and ran to them. "Y/n my dear, what has happened?!" Morgana asked, saddened by me crying. "I h-had an argument w-with M-M-M..." "It's alright, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." Gwen said kindly. She shared a look with Morgana, who nodded and went inside. "Let it all out." She hugged me close.

Morgana's P. O. V

I was marching up to Arthur's chambers, to ask him where is Merlin. NO ONE hurts Y/n and gets away with it! I don't care if it was a king who hurt her, I would give them a piece of my mind!
I knocked on the door and Merlin answered. "Arthur I have to steal Merlin for a minute!" I yelled and almost yeeted Merlin out the door out of rage. "How dare you hurt Y/n!?" I demanded.  "Listen, Lady Morgana I-" "NO YOU LISTEN!" You hurt the person I consider my sister!"
"Morgana." I turned around and saw Arthur with a smile. "What is it Arthur?" I asked annoyed. "Merlin loves Y/n. He actually came to ask me about it. Turns out he has loved Y/n this whole time and Freya was someone who showed him what love was. After she died, Merlin realised that he loves Y/n." My anger faded away. And in its place, a smile. "Well, go get her a bouquet of (f/flowers) and tell her!" I said happily.

Merlin smiled and dashed away. I felt so happy for Y/n. "I'm so happy for them Arthur. When are you getting with Gwen by the way?" Arthur blushed all shades of red. I laughed and took his hand so we could see what will happen.

Y/n P.O.V

I was still crying in Gwen's arms when I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up and saw Merlin. He nodded towards Gwen and she left, but not before giving him a death glare. "Y/n I'm so sorry for all the chats. Actually, while Freya taught me how to love, I realized that I am in love with you.  Please forgive me for being such a...prat." I smiled at his choice of words. He wiped my tears away and looked into my eyes, and kissed me. I immediately kissed back. When we parted, he was smiling like the goofball he is. "I love you Merlin, and nothing can change that." He smiled. "I love you too, Y/n." He pulled out a bouquet of (f/f) he was hiding behind his back. "Merlin, these are so beautiful,  thank you." "You're welcome. Now, will you do the honors of becoming my girlfriend?" I kissed his lips once more. "I believe that's a yes." "It is a yes." We heard clapping, and saw Arthur, Gwen and Morgana were all clapping. I blushed all shades of red. "Congratulations,  you two. Now Merlin, you have to polish my armor and-" Morgana was slightly annoyed so she just winked at me and we had the idea. I spoke to Merlin in his head. Me and Morgana will make Gwen and Arthur kiss. Not a word now, Merlin. I stood behind Gwen, and Morgana behind Arthur. We immediately pushed them together. And they kissed!!! The three of us were cheering. "It was so painfully obvious you two love each other." Merlin added. Both of them turned red from embarrassment. Arthur started to chase us, but we had a head start and ran to the horses and hid in the stables. We were all laughing.

And that's how a beautiful relationship between me and Merlin started.
