Ahana's pov

"Whhaatt?" I almost screamed hearing her which made her look at me wide eyes as we gained quite a stares from people around. Giving them an apologetic smile we came back on the main topic.

She is getting married to Adith? How? Why? When?

"Can you please explain further?" I asked her confused and frustrated for some reason. She sighed and started

"I told you before right that my dad is looking for an alliance for me? So yesterday Adith and his parents came home for the same as dad knew Adith's dad from before so he suggested for our match. Aur meine haa keh diya" she said it in one go without much of a emotion on her face while it was hard for me to digest the whole thing.

"And you agreed?"
I asked to her raising my eyebrows. She looked at me slightly and breaking the eye contact shrugged saying

"Yaa I mean Adith is a nice guy and I knew him beforehand because of your marriage and plus he is well settled too so I didn't find any problem in this"
I still can't believe this. I mean she is not someone who will just say yes to anybody seeing his bank balance or looks. She always listen to her heart or nobody at all. If she had said yes to this alliance than....than she maybe likes Adith. And she being the great Swara Singh she is, won't accept it easily. I squinted my eyes looking at her wiggling my eyebrows suggestively. She frowned seeing my expression playing innocent and asked

"What"
I didn't said anything just smiled like a stupid which irritated her and she spoke again

"Ahana I swear I'll smack your head right now if you won't stop with that expression of yours"
This time I closed my mouth obediently and asked

"So?"
She heaved a sigh rolling her eyes

"What is it Ahana?" She asked finally I said exited like a child

"You like him"
It was more like a statement from my side which took her off guard and one can even see a blush forming on her cheeks which just made my suspicion more strong. Clearing her throat she started explaining

"No...no I don't like him or anything. Its just that he is genuinely a nice guy not like other spoiled brat. He is caring and respects everyone. I think it will work out so I said yes warna pata nhi dad aur kitne ladko se milate mujhse"
She completed her speech after which I said calmly

"Okay now tell me the true reason?"
This time she blushed like anything making me smile again

"Ab pasand hai toh qabool karlo akhir hone wale pati hai apke"
I commented teasing and she looked down. I swear I never saw her this shy ever. Adith has surely done some magic on my tough friend.

"Yes I like him"
She accepted finally making me squeal and getting up I hugged her tight making her chuckle.

"So tell me when are you officially becoming Mrs Adith Seth huhh?"
I asked smirking and she said

"Don't know about the marriage but we are getting engaged day after tomorrow"
She told the real news leaving me shocked

"You bitch. I swear agar tune aaj mujhe ye bataya nhi hota na toh phir zindagi bhar baat nhi karti tujhse"

"Tujhe kaise nhi pata chalta. Ab tak toh tere maike aur sasural dono jagah cards pohoch gyi hogi engagement ki"

Together we laughed at her words.

"Does Adith too likes you?"
Hearing this she had a serene smile on her face like thinking about him only and said

"Yes he does. Actually he told me about his feelings towards me on your marriage day but I didn't accepted it thinking it's all temporary though I too liked him that time very much but after seeing him yesterday at my home I just had to say yes"
