Ahana's pov

We all after reaching Mumbai spent our whole day together just relaxing as it was Sunday so there was not any specific thing to do and nor did papa or Randhir's had office either and thinking of office I realised I have to talk to maa and papa about continuing my job. I looked at everyone and smiled seeing my family all happy together and I silently prayed to the almighty to always keep them this way, happy. We all after relaxing for some time were in the living room having our evening tea and finding the time perfect and gathering my courage I decided to finally ask them.

"Papa maa" hearing me all attention turned to me

"Bolo puttar" papa encouraged and taking a deep breath I said

"I want to continue my job" maa smiled shaking her head and papa too had a calm look on his face.

"Toh puchne wali konsi baat hai. Hum thodi na tumhe rokne wale hai. It's your life so you can very well take your decision" ma said lovingly and papa added

"Bilkul, aapne humari rai leni chahi ye hi bohot hai beta" and I was the happiest hearing them and immediately I hugged both of them making choti and my husband chuckle. Breaking the hug I said

"I just thought that we recently got married so it won't look good if I joined my job just now" maa shaked her head and said

"Tum dusro par Matt dhyaan do. Tumhare maa papa ko koi pareshani nhi hai toh tumhe dusro ke bare mein sochna bhi nhi chaiye" and papa agreed to that too.

"Yes ofcourse we would be the proudest seeing you independent and successful" papa said and continued rather cautiously

"But beta I just have a request" I frowned at his hesitancy and urged him to speak

"Boliye na Papa?" He took hold on my hand and requested

"I just thought if you could instead join 'Malhotra industries'. I mean I would love to have you on board and moreover jab humari khud ki company hai toh mein tumhe kahi aur kaam karne kaise de sakta hu? Par ye sirf meri ek suggestion hai aage tum jaisa thik samjho" he completed saying and hearing him immediately I looked at Randhir who's expression clearly told that it is only my decision to make and smiling I made up my mind and looked at Papa back

"Aap aise Kyu keh rahe hai Papa. Mujhe Malhotra industries join karne mein kya dikkat ho sakti hai? Offcourse I'll love to join our company" hearing this all looked happy and smiled and I continued a little mischievously

"Aur waise bhi I think I should use my amazing skills to bring profits in our company rather than any other rivals of ours right" and hearing me all laughed when my not so innocent husband commented smirking

"We'll see how of a smart mind you are Mrs Malhotra because you'll work under me" I blushed glared at him and choti and papa chuckled while maa ordered strictly to him making me smile childishly at him

"Bholu dare you behave rudely with my daughter or trouble her with work. Laut ke tumko yahi aana hai" he stared at maa with a unbelievable expression and said rather sarcastically

"Aap meri bhi mom ho ye yaad hai na apko?" To which mom didn't paid any heed and ordered again

"Woh jo bhi hai. Isse bhi apne jaise workoholic Matt bana dena. Already I am bearing two in my home" she told eyeing papa and Randhir strictly making me and choti laugh while papa spoke getting offended

"Arre bhagyawaan, tum mujhe kyu beech mein laa rahi ho? Meine toh gharpe office ka kaam karna bhi chod diya hai" maa twisted her face and said

"Haa toh akhir aapse hi toh sikha hai aapke bete ne" and papa made a helpless face dejected.
