I sighed looking at the 4 walls of my new room...
I wiped away the few tears I had in my eyes.
I just couldn't process the fact that I am away from home..
But, I'm glad I'm away from there.
That house is full of bad memories... But hundreds of happy memories as well..

My name is Gabriella and I am 16 years old and a Junior in high school.
I've lived in Colorado my whole entire life..
My life.. It's not the best..
At least not after my 16 year old brother committed suicide.. That was 2 years ago.
After that a lot of shit has happened in my life which have completely destroyed me.
I'll mention them later in the "story"
Leaving my home town wasn't easy.
But it's for the best and I know it.
I'll miss it..and the few friends I had..
But it's time for a new fresh start.
I'm ready.
Indeed tomorrow I'll be going to my new school.. Hahaha.. FUCK.
Why did summer have to end?
This summer was incredible..
I've made so many great memories that I'll never forget..
I remember watching the sunset with my friends, partying, the sleepovers, the occasional summer flings we all had.. Nothing too serious tho..
Just teenagers having fun..
Most of my friends were boys..
I've had some girl-friends too but I get along better with guys.. Not sure why..
It doesn't matter now tho because they live far away..
If you're wondering why we moved here it's because my dad has some good friends here..
He spent his whole childhood here to be exact..
So, his friends helped him find a job in New Jersey and since we all wanted a fresh start we decided to give it a try.
We'll see if that decision was right or not.
It's currently 10.30 p.m and I'm listening to some music.
I should go to sleep early today because tomorrow is the first day.
Me being a good, responsible teenager.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and then headed to bed..
I've got to admit I'm a little nervous..
