SPECIAL 2

"Come on guys, we are becoming late!" Kongpob said as he stood up from the sofa after waiting for his daughter and husband who was busy dressing themselves up.

Kongpob rolled his eyes waiting for the two who screamed that they'll get down soon. He placed his hand on his back as he tried to balance his weight by holding his belly with his other hand.

He already felt like going to the bathroom to empty his bladder.

Kongpob looked at the two people who ran down the stairs towards him.

"You guys are not going to a wedding, we're going for my ultrasound. You guys took almost an hour there!" Kongpob nagged at the two.

"I'm sorry Kong, but it was Lia! She didn't like whatever dress I showed her!" Arthit pointed at her daughter who looked at him with her mouth wide.

"What!? No, Mom! It's Dad! He was getting late!" Lia glared at her dad.

Kongpob rolled his eyes at the two who started to fight.

"Enough you both! We're getting late!"

The daughter and father stopped and smiled sheepishly at Kongpob who was throwing daggers with his eyes.

When they were about to leave Kongpob stopped on his tracks.

"Give me a second, I need to use the restroom."

Arthit and Lia looked at each other after Kongpob walked, or rather waddling to the restroom holding his stomach.

Arthit and Lia let out a muffled laugh.

"Okay, the baby is healthy. According to the calculation, you can have your labour in next month the third week. I'm not predicting the date since most of the cases don't follow the same schedule but just in case you can come to the hospital next month on 12th."

Kongpob looked at Arthit before the two nodded their heads at the doctor.

The doctor smiled back and removed the transducer from Kongpob's belly.

Arthit along with Lia helped Kongpob to get down the bed.

"Arthit, make sure that your husband doesn't move around so much. Be extra careful. Make sure he eats healthy and drink lots of water. If he wants to walk, you can take a 5 minutes to walk around your living room or garden, that's fine," the doctor instructed to which Arthit nodded his head.

"So, what will I do?" Lia asked, pouting at the doctor.

The three elders laughed at the little girl.

"You have to be with your mom all the time. Get her water if she asks, helps her sit and stand and all. Your a supergirl for your mom, Lia," the doctor caressed Lia's hair who enthusiastically nodded her head.

Kongpob and Arthit thanked the doctor before the trio left the room.

Arthit helped Kongpob to sit on the car seat. Kongpob felt his phone buzz in his hand and he checked it to see a message from Bright.

He raised an eyebrow before he opened the chat and saw a video.

Arthit sat on the driving seat and looked at Kongpob before he started the car and drove.

Just after a few minutes, they got out of the hospital compound Arthit heard quiet sobs from his sides.

"Kong?" Arthit called but he didn't get any reply. Arthit just turned his eyes to look at Lia who was equally confused at the back seat.

Suddenly Arthit steps on the break, parking at the roadside when he heard Kongpob crying out loud.

Arthit turned towards Kongpob in panic.

"Kongpob! Are you okay? Did you hurt somewhere?" Arthit asked his husband panicking.

"Mom, are you okay? What happened, mom?" Lia looked at her mother with concern.

Kongpob's cries increased as he looked at his phone.

Lia noticing it took Kongpob's phone and looked at the screen to only frown later.

"What happened?" Arthit asked his daughter while he patted on his husband's arms.

Lia rolled her eyes as she passed the phone at Arthit.

Arthit stared at the phone before he frowned, "Bright!" He growled under his breath.

"Kongpob, it's okay na," Arthit caressed his husband's hair.

"But P! It's soo cute! How can an animal be soo cute!" Kongpob lifted his hands dramatically.

"I know Kong, but stop crying now. It's not good for your health na," Arthit kissed Kongpob's cheeks.

Kongpob's cries turned into quiet sobs.

"It was soo cute P!" Kongpob pointed at his phone.

Arthit tried to control the urge to roll his eyes, he was cursing Bright in his mind already.

"Mom, it was just a snow leopard," Lia tried to convince her mother.

"I know it! But it's soo cute! A baby snow leopard playing with a ball! It's soo adorable!" Kongpob cupped his face with his hand as he imagined the video he saw.

Arthit chuckled, he wiped Kongpob's tears away and cupped the latter's cheeks before he placed a small kiss on his lips.

"I know my love. Now, don't stress out. We'll go and eat your favourite pancakes with pickle okay?"

Kongpob's lips broke into a sweet smile as he nodded his head. His mind completely forgetting about the video.

Arthit looked at Lia who only shook his head, he signed in relief when he heard Kongpob speaking about all toppings we were going to add to the pancakes.

Don't ask about the combination of food, last time Kongpob had ordered Arthit to bring him avocado and cherry jam to eat.
