[Cold's POV]
Daddy Calling...
I grip the side of the table tightly. Ramdam kong namumutla na ako. Alam ko ring naguguluhang nakatingin si Sydney sa akin pero wala akong pakialam. I just stare at my phone.
"H-Hey. Won't you make sagot sagot there? Are you okay lang ba?" Tanong niya na parang naguguluhan din sa biglaang pagkilos ko. Umiling lang ako at tinignang muli ang phone ko na nagri-ring sa pangalawang pagkakataon. Shit, eto na ba ang oras?
Nanginginig ko itong sinagot. "Hello."
[What took you so long?] Iritang sabi ng nasa kabilang linya. I secretly sighed. Naso-suffocate na yata ako.
"I'm talking to somebody."
[Alam mo naman siguro ang dahilan ng pagtawag ko right?] Napayukom ang kaliwang kamao ko.
"D-Dad."
[What?] Tanong niya na pa. Is he really that insensitive?
"Can we just talk about this some other time? I-I'm j-just..."
[Are you hesitant?] My heart raced at his question.
"N-no. Of course not."
[Then do it.] Hindi ako nakapagsalita.

"What the heck is your problem?" Ramdam ko ang iritasyon sa boses ni Laurice. I just looked at her.
"You know what? You couldn't just called me and told me to come here and you'll just walk around like you're in a freakin' Victoria Secret's fashion show!" Kung normal na sitwasyon ay matatawa ako sa sinabi niya. Aba banat yun para sa kanya. Pero hindi, wala ako sa mood.
"Like seriously Coldeigh, what the hell is your problem?"
"He called Laurice. H-he already called me.." Pabulong kong sagot pero sapat na upang marinig niya.
"HE DID?! Oh my God!" I'm expecting that reaction. I just nodded and went straight to the fridge and get my cookies and cream ice cream and three bars of cadbury chocolate.
"It's time Laurice. It's time."

We are all in the same game; just different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different devils.
It's been 1 am for my sake and I couldn't sleep. I keep on finding ways to escape but it seems like I'm being trapped. I couldn't think straight. I'm almost losing all my guts to finish this goddamn mission. I sighed and lazily reached for my phone and search for my contacts, as soon as I found it I immediately press the call button.
[WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SLUMBER?! IT'S ALMOST 2 AM FOR GOD'S SAKE!] Rinig kong sigaw sa kabilang linya. I'm expecting this. I sadly smiled.
"It's me." I answered and I couldn't hear any sound from the other line. I thought he's sleeping again and was about to end the call when he spoked.
