I smile a bit as me and Ashton spar. Honestly, the guy knew how to actually fight, I couldn't just dodge and make jokes... I actually had to focus.

I enjoyed it.

The match quickly ended with me once again being pinned to the ground, the older guy just laughing softly.

"You can put up one hell of a fight, but you got a ways to go." He said happily.

I scoffed softly as I took his outstretched hand, helping me get up.

"Whatever you say, Hot Stuff."

The dark haired man just chuckled, smiling himself.

"You and-"

"Bowie!" A shrill scream made both of us wince, my hand actually moving up to touch my ringing ear.

"Damnit." We muttered together as the bitch from way before runs up to us.

She seemed to have gotten her hair dyed once again and maybe some plastic surgery. Still, though, she smelled horrible!

Swiftly, her arms wrapped around his neck, her overly painted lips being smeared all over his face.

I gagged a bit, stepping away from them.

The hag's face snapped to me at such speeds I'm surprised she didn't get whiplash.

"Oh, it's you." Her nose wrinkled as if she had smelled something awful, her eyes holding disgust.

I glared at her as I crossed my arms.

"At least I don't bathe in old woman's perfume." I swiftly retorted with.

Her eyes widen as she gave an overexaggerated cry.

Ash chuckled, whipping his mouth of her lipstick.

"Besides, you wear so much make-up, I can't tell if you're naturally ugly or you're part of the circus."

Another exaggerated cry and a stifled laugh.

"Stop laughing with this runt!" She shouted at old my English teach, stomping her foot childishly.

I smirked a bit, leaning on one leg.

"Runt?" I asked, chuckling myself. "Haven't been called that in a while." I shook my head, standing up straight again.

Honestly, being called that again was amusing since I honestly doubt she could throw a straight punch.

The rich guy gently pushed the woman off him, stepping away.

"He's no more of runt than me." He stated simply. "He's one hell of a fighter, even if he's not a like us. Now, leave him alone, Mathilde."

Mathilde turned her attention back to the big guy, narrowing her ugly eyes at him.

"He's just a lucky brat. He doesn't even deserve your attention." She hissed, seeming to grow even angrier.

I glared down at her, feeling something odd in my chest... It was painful, kind of like anger, but different at the same time...

"And you do?" Ashton's voice dropped any amusement it originally had. He sounded annoyed now.

The brat scoffed, grabbing the tall man by his sweaty shirt.

"Listen here, you and me are going to get married. You promised me!" She shrieked the last part, making both of us wince.

"Lady, if he doesn't want to marry you, deal with it!" I called out, rubbing my ear to make the ringing stop.

She snapped her faded eyes to me, they blazing with anger.

"He promised! He promised!" She chanted over and over like a damn child. "He's my mate, he's mine! I'm suppose to be fucking Luna!" She growled, storming over to me.

I was really starting to get pissed now. Can't this woman just learn to shut up and not be so obsessed with her?

"Listen here, bitch, he doesn't have to keep his damn promise if he doesn't love you! You don't own him and he doesn't own you! So shut the fuck up before I make you!" I roared, growling loudly.

The entire field went quiet, Mathilde freezing in her tracks. She looked scared... Very scared.

I took a deep breath and forcibly calmed myself. I so wanted to hit her, but I can't do that to a defenseless woman... Unless she's really asking for it.

Ash quickly walked between us, gently placing his hands on my shoulders. He was a little too close...

"Jax, it's alright... She's not a threat." He whispered very lowly. "She's not a threat."

I took another deep breath, this one actually calming me.

"Thanks..." I muttered softly, looking down.

"Mathilde," His voice turned stern and loud. "get the fuck off my property, you're no longer welcomed here."

The woman growled a bit, but stormed off without much fighting.

I sighed heavily, shaking off Ash's hands.

"I'm going to my room." I whispered, walking away.

I just needed some time alone now. Just some time to calm down... And not loose control.
