The bright sun blinded me... It hurt my eyes...

I groaned in a rough voice, rolling onto my side.

Everything hurt... Everything felt so painful... Did I get attacked by wolves? Or did someone try and shoot me?

I slowly moved onto my hands and knees... I felt so weak...

My head pounded, forcing even the simplest memory away... All I could remember was fear... Was that I had to run... But... There was anger too... So much anger, it was like a river of fire...

It was painful to have all of that anger... But, I wasn't angry anymore... Just... dizzy...

"Jaxon?" A frantic voice called to me.

I looked towards it in fright, scrambling away.

A male, a beautiful male looked at me with these concerned hazel-green eyes... They looked so familar...

Yet, the memory I wanted, faded out of my reach... The dizzy pain blurring it away so I could not remember him...

He took a step toward me, I crawled five steps back.

He winced, looking me up and down. His eyes widen a fraction before going to a relaxed type of state.

"Jaxon... It's alright... I'm not here to hurt you..." The man lowered his voice, making it sound like he was talking to an animal...

I couldn't blame him though... I kind of was acting like one.

"I-I'm di-dizzy..." I whined lightly, tears springing to my eyes as the dizziness swarmed me, it hurt so bad... "I-It hu-hurts..."

The man quickly walked to me, but kept it cautious.

When he was able to grab me, he dropped to his knees and held my head lightly. He looked deep into my eyes, his hazel being overrunned with emerald green.

For a split second, my vision became enhanced along with my hearing, but then it relaxed into nothing but pain...

I whined when that happened, cool liquid falling from my eyes as I sniffled.

"It hurts..." I whimpered again.

The man pulled me close to his chest, letting me hear the quick, strong beatings of his heart.

"It's alright," His voice rumbled deep within his chest. "I'm here... You're safe..."

I closed my eyes at his words, my hands gripping his shirt tightly. I felt safe now... Even as my head screamed in pain, I was safe... He'd protect me...

I know he will...
