~1 week later~
I hear my phone start ringing as I look at the caller ID.
"Who is it?" Nathan asks.
"Doctors. I can't answer." I say as Nathan takes my phone and puts it on loud speaker.
(D- doctors, N- Nathan)
N: Hello?
D: Good afternoon, Mr. Sykes. It's Dr. Greene here.
N: Oh, good afternoon.
D: We got the results back from the tests that we took last week.
N: Okay.
D: Is Evadine there?
N: Yes. You're on loud speaker and she's sat next to me.
D: Good. So we have all good news for you. Evadine can carry your baby.
N: Oh my god! That's amazing news. Thank you so much
D: You're very welcome Mr. Sykes. Many wishes to you both.
N: Thank you. Bye.
Nathan hangs up and turns to me as the tears roll down my cheeks.
"I can have our baby..." I whisper as Nathan pulls me into his knee and cuddles me, "I... I can't believe it..." I trail off.
"I know." Nathan whispers into my hair and kisses my head.
"I can carry our baby!" I exclaim, starting to smile before I kiss Nathan, "We can have a baby." I say smiling brightly as Nathan smiles back and kisses me softly.
Nathan lifts me up off the sofa and carries me into the bedroom. He places me down on the bed before going underneath the bed and pulling out a box.
"I got this for you. No matter what, I was gonna give it to you anyway but, I think this is better timing." Nathan says as I open the box and pull out a locket.
"Oh, Nathan's it's beautiful." I say as Nathan puts it around my neck and does up the clip.
"You like it?" He asks as I turn to him and kiss him.
"I love it, Nathan. It's beautiful. Thank you so much." I say as he smiles.
"Open the locket." Nathan says as I open it to see one side has our wedding photo in it, "The other side is blank for when we have a baby." Nathan says as I hug him.
"You are literally the sweetest and I love you so much." I say as Nathan kisses me.
"I love you more." He says as I smile.
"So cheesy." I say as Nathan lays me down before crawling above me and kissing me as I kiss him back...
