Chapter 15

When I wake up in the morning, Nathan is just coming through my door with a tray, bringing me breakfast.

"Mornin'." He says as I smile and take the toast he's brought me.
"Thank you and good morning." I say as he smiles, "Nathan? You know if we end up getting together?" I question as he nods.
"Yeah?" He questions as I look at him
"How would we sleep in the same bed? I can't get up the stairs." I say as he smiles.
"I'll move into this room but, for now, just live in the moment. If we do get together, Eva, in time when we're more comfortable with each other, I will move down here into this room and share the bed with you." Nathan says as I smile.
"Okay, I was just wondering, like, I don't know what's gonna happen but, yeah. It was just a thought." I say as Nathan nods and smiles, kissing my forehead.
"Why are we talking about this anyways?" Nathan asks as I shrug.
"I dunno. It was just a thought. Don't worry about it. Stupid topic." I say as Nathan nods.
"Okay. Well, I'm at work today so, are you gonna be alright here on your own?" Nathan asks as I nod and smile.
"I'm just gonna stay in bed today. Not feeling up to doing anything." I say as he nods.
"Okay. See you later." He says as I nod and he leaves the room.

Once I'd finished eating, I placed the tray with my plate and cup on the floor before turning my TV on and flicking through Netflix. I decide on watching Gavin and Stacey and once that was finished, I started Sex Education.

Once they had finished, I turned my TV off and grabbed my laptop, just scrolling through my Twitter and Facebook. I had nothing better to do.

I eventually got bored and decided to get some more sleep...

"Hey, Eva." I hear Nathan says as I turn and smile at him.
"Hey." I say, letting him kiss the side of my head.
"What did you wanna talk about?"  Nathan asks as I turn to face him completely.
"I uh..." I trail off as he smiles at me.
"You know you can tell me anything right?" He asks as I nod.
"Yeah, uhm... Nath, I... I'm having your baby." I say as his face turns pale.
"W-what?" He stutters out as I look down at my hands, "You're pregnant? But the doctors said..." He trails off as I look at him.
"I know they said that it wasn't possible but, I'm pregnant." I say as Nathan breaks out into a smile and kisses me softly.
"I love you so much." He whispers as I smile and hug him.

When I wake up, Nathan was laid beside me, sleeping peacefully as I smiled and watched him sleep for a while.

I have fallen in love with the man who saved my life.
