Chapter 12 - Hurt

It was a small whimper.

I tried to work out where it was coming from and finally concluded that it coming from the corner of the room. I looked there and saw Becca curled up in a ball, she looked petrified. It broke my heart. I walked closer to her and she flinched, what happened? What have I done?

After a while I managed to get her to the sofa and she cuddled into me and finally fell asleep whilst I played with her hair.
