His glittering eyes and mischievous smile told her exactly where this conversation was headed. "Within reason, yes," she smiled.

"So having cake on my birthday is unreasonable?"

"No, but-"

"So I can have cake right now?" He grinned.

"The candles aren't even on it yet!" She laughed.

"Then get the candles, woman! Why do you make this so hard? I'll go get the camera."

Deciding that it was just easier to give the spoiled man what he wanted, she frowned and opened the nearby pack of colorful candles. "I'm going to make something else hard," she mumbled, making him poke his head back into the room.

"Pardon?"

"Get out!"

He cackled all the way up the stairs to their bedroom. She shook her head and stuck the candles into the cake, disbelieving that he had somehow gotten his way yet again, and she mused if she was as soft on him as he was on Hyori.

The shutter click of the camera made her head snap up. With Hyori still secured in one arm, he held the Canon sideways, preparing to take another photo of her.

"At least warn me first," she chuckled. "I probably had a double chin."

"You did, but it was cute. Smile."

She was already smiling from his admission when the shutter clicked again. "Shut up!" She laughed. "I don't point out your faults."

"That's because I don't have any," he said, pressing the shutter release after she posed cutely.

"You sleep with your mouth open and breathe like a beast all night," she deadpanned.
