"YOU got the nerve to show up here?" She pushed him so hard that he stepped back, "How dare you!"

"Maricar, I'm sorry--" but she just slapped him again.

"Go away, Dominic. Go back to your life!" She demanded yet was caught off guard when he kneeled!

"But you are my life," He cried, "I'm sorry... I should have protected you from her... I'm sorry from the baby--"

Bullshit! She hit him again with what she could grab from around, "This is all your fault! This is all your fault!"

Yes. This is all his fault.

"You shouldn't come back! You shouldn't even live after that accident!" She snapped. "Why did you even live?!"

Never in her life, she got into a point where she would use those kinds of words. Words that will act as a dagger into other souls for she knew that people will forget what you say or did but will never forget how it made them feel.

Until now.

He didn't try to shield himself from her, he purposely let her release what she should have done before.

"What do you even need from me?" she cried, "I set you free. I let you both be happy. I didn't fight back. I endured every bad thing you did to me! So, what else do you need from me!"

"I'm sorry, Icang..." he held her arms, "I didn't know..."

"You killed my baby!"

Her tears now were even worse than when Dominic left her. It was even worse when she found out that he had replaced her with another woman. It's even worse than knowing he cheated.

"Get out of here!"

"Maricar ---" but just before he could hold her, Tristan came and pulled him away and gave him a strong blow to the cheek.

"Tristan!"

"You still had the audacity to come here," He blurted out and shielded her from him, "You leave my wife alone!"

"Tristan, he's not worth it..." she cried, "Get me out of here..." Tristan turned to face her, cupped her face and wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Maricar shook her head.

Tristan face Dominic again, "You won't get away with this! I'll make sure you and your wife would get what you deserve..." Tristan promised, "Now if you show your face here again, the next time you'll open your eyes you'll be seeing yourself inside a jail!"

Tristan gently gets her out of the Wizards and drove somewhere far away from him.

On the other side, Dominic was left there on the ground. He didn't know what was more painful.

Maricar's words, Tristan's punch, the reality that she was pregnant or the truth that this is all his fault and the reason why he lost them?

All of the above. He thought.

----

It has been two weeks since Dominic left their house. After what happened with Maricar, he never returned nor even spoke with her.

"Aren't you going to sleep?" Abby asked when she saw her standing by the doorway, "He's not coming home," she added with finality in her voice.

"He's gonna come back, Abby" she objected.

"How did you know?"

"I just did," she answered, "He always comes back, Abby..."

"What if he won't this time?"
