"What about that one? He's cute." My work friend, Patricia asked, nudging me as another guy walked by.

"He's good for you, yeah." I said, not really paying attention to her.

"No, bitch. For you." She said laughing.

"I'm good." I sighed, already missing the hell out of Ethan's annoying ass.

"Girl. No you're not. You need a boyfriend." She said before turning to the person standing at the register. "How are you?"

"I'm good." The person said.

"Have a good night." She said handing him back his card. She looked at him as he was walking away. "So what about him?"

"Patty. I'm good, really." I said trailing off.

"Girl, you are always going on and on about how you are singl-"

"Patricia, I have a boyfriend." I said before walking away and back towards the salad bar because I saw my boss coming.

She turned around and looked at me with an unreadable look on her face as I walked away. I got back behind the salad bar and took my phone out if my pocket, seeing I had a text from Ethan.

I put my phone down because I needed to refill the lettuce and actually do my job. After refilling everything that needed to be refilled, I rent back to leaning against the counter and picked my phone up, seeing a text from an unknown number, probably Camron.
