Chapter 7

Laurens P.O.V

Finally I am done with this stupid paperwork. How is this actually more tiring than any physical activity. I am exhausted, and I rarely say that.

I got up from my chair and stretched, yawning. It was a really cold night so I put on my leather jacket and walked to my jeep. I got into the drivers seat, as I wiped my tired eyes I put the keys in and drove of.

I drove in silence, I like it that way, in silence it so much easier to think. My mind wandered back to Camila, I feel like I have met her before, I just couldn't remember....where?

I feel as if I should be near her, why? Urg, get her out of your head Lauren. I shook my head and hit it against the steering wheel.

I decided to just focus on the road, shutting out all thoughts of Camila. I was getting closer to home, I took a left turn into fifth street. It was a run down, poor street, a lot of crime happened in this area.

Ironically it was right next to one of the richest areas in Miami. I passed through this road often, but I don't know why it felt so different today, I had a bad feeling, I probably just need sleep.

The street lights did not work, so I turned on my headlights instantly brightening the road. I drove for a while, the road was very quiet not another car in sight. My eyes were getting even more tired and heavy.

Wait, my eyes then widened as the my headlights outlined 5 men, what were they doing? I looked closer and I saw a girl.

I can't see her face as her back was facing me. Then she turned my heart dropped and I put my foot down so hard on the brakes, the car came to a fast stop...."CAMILA!"

Camila's P.O.V

I felt his lips press onto mine and I tried to push him away. He grabbed my hands and another man started kissing my neck.

I felt so disgusted, tears were pouring out of my eyes and I couldn't scream as there was a hand over mouth. I didn't know what to do, please god help me.

One of the men grabbed my shirt and started tearing it. I shut my eyes again, feeling his big hand touch me, I wanted to scream. I wanted to get out of here.

That's when I felt his hand move away fast and so did the one from my mouth. I opened my eyes, there was light and I could see clearly, it was coming from behind me.

I turned, it was a black jeep, my first instinct was to run. I began to ran but he grabbed my stomach again, "HEL-" I tried to scream before he covered my mouth.

I saw someone climb out of the jeep hurriedly. What if they were responsible for this? What if they didn't want to help? What if they were bad like these men? My thoughts ran wild and my heart was beating faster than ever, my head was throbbing.

Then the person shouted "LET HER GO!", that voice, I know that voice and then they stepped into the light....Lauren. It was actually lauren, I blinked a few times to make sure I wasn't imagining.

"Let her go now" said Lauren firmly pointing a gun to the guy who just laughed. I had to get away somehow, then without thinking, I sank my teeth into his hand that covered my mouth.

He stepped back "You bitch!" was all I heard before I sprinted towards Lauren. I ran straight into her and wrapped my hands around her waist tightly breathing heavily and closed my eyes.

Narrators P.O.V

Camila held onto Lauren for dear life. Lauren was taken a back but quickly pointed her gun towards the men. She was fuming, her eyes were cold and murderous.

"Take one step closer and I will blow your brains out!" Lauren shouted. One man however, did not listen, he started  stepping forward. Instantly she shot him, right between the eyes. The gunshot had echoed and she felt Camila's grip on her tighten.

She looked down to see Camila's  closed eyes and then before she could look up, one of the men ran forward and grabbed Laurens gun which he threw away into the gutter. "She is just a women officer, I can kill her with my bare hands" he thought to himself.

He then punched Lauren in her face, this just made her even more mad. She glared at the man. "Now lets see you fight, without your gun, you weak bitch." he barked.

Lauren separated herself from a hysterical Camila, who fell to her knees still not opening her eyes. Lauren then stepped forward lifting up her fists. She was fully focused on the man and making sure she knew where the other men were positioned too.

The man ran toward her again, lifting his hand to punch Lauren again but she dodged it. He turned only to meet with Laurens right fist that connected with his jaw. His head turned so fast, a crack was heard in his neck, and he fell to his knees before hitting the ground, letting go of his last breath.

Out of the side of her eye she saw another man approach her with a knife. He lunged forward trying to cut her but she grabbed the knife swiftly and thrust it into his stomach repeatedly, with no remorse, she had one intention....to kill.

The man fell to the ground and now there were only two left, Lauren was seeing red, she ran to the other man who was still gripping his hand from where Camila bit him.

She was so focused on killing him she didn't noticed the other man sneak up from behind and grab her waist and hands, holding her down waiting for the other to attack her. Suddenly it started raining, it started of as a drizzle but it then poured heavily, drenching them.

Lauren was still trying to get out of his hold but he was too strong. The other man began punching her in the stomach and face with full force, repeatedly. She coughed out blood with each hit. Eventually she could barely move, pain overtaking her body. He yanked her hair ,pulling her head back violently. She sneered at him, looking at him full of hate.

"You thought you could save her , now watch what I will do to her" the man said letting out an evil laugh. He let go of Lauren and walked up to Camila again, who still was lying in the rain curled up into a ball. She was unaware of anything, it was as if her brain had shut off.

"Touch her and I will fucking kill you" she managed to spit out, tasting the blood in her mouth. The man laughed again as he went onto his knees and started running his hands all over Camila's bare abdomen and chest. Then he bent over maintaining eye contact with Lauren while placing kisses over Camila's chest going lower and lower...

Lauren couldn't bare it anymore. She was now going insane she was desperately trying to break free. She violently shook herself, jumping up and down and with her last bit of energy she freed one of her hands.

Without thinking she grabbed the face of the man holding her and then she felt his eyes. She dug her fingers into them as hard as she could. He let go of her covering his eyes and he fell  screaming in agony. She kicked him right in the chest hard with her combat boots and he fell back lifeless.

This gained the attention of the other man who was in shock, he got up quickly and backed away. Lauren was pulsing, her face clearly showing her intentions. As she approached the man, she saw the fear in his eyes.

Then he looked down to Camila, Lauren followed, when her eyes saw Camila, they softened. When she looked up the man began running away. She could follow him but no the first thing she did was run to Camila.

Okay so nobody messes with Lolo's Camz.❤ Lauren is ruthless when it comes to protecting Camila.😏❤Okay so I tried to write out the fight scene as descriptive as possible so it will be easier for y'all to imagine😂. And as always please Let me know your thoughts?😁
