Chapter 6: I Just Need Some Space

Steven: "Hey, hi, I'm Steven. What brings you back to Earth?"

Leggy: "Uh, I don't, know?"

Steven: "Oh, I understand. I used to forget why we go on missions all the time."

Leggy: "I'll just go stand over here then."

Steven: "Let's take a chance on Army."

     Army's bubble popped.

Steven: "Good afternoon."

Army: "AAARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!! I'll tear you limb from limb!"

     She rushed at Steven as Garnet picked her up.

Garnet: "Hey, don't be like that."

Army: "Why I 'oughta, razzle, frzl, erg, gr."

Garnet: "Aww. Next!"

     Garnet put Army under her arm.

Steven: "Uh, Navy?"

Navy: "If I remember correctly, we were on Earth... uh, huh. This is so embarrassing."

     She turned away and ran over to Leggy.

Steven: "Okay. Eyeball?"

Eyeball: "I'm not telling y'all nothing about nothing."

Steven: "The only one left now is, Doc."

Doc: "Where's Jasper? Last time we came, you tricked us into playing that stupid game, then you said 'She's on Neptune.' so we looked, and she wasn't there. She wasn't on Neptune, or any other planet in this whole dang solar system. Tell us where she is, right now. No games, no tricks, and no slick disguises."

     As she was saying that, Amethyst snuck away and put on a slick disguise.

Amethyst (J): "Hey! I'm right here."

Pearl: "Is she serious."

     I leaned over to Pearl and whispered.

(Y/N): "Two of them didn't even know why they were here. I don't think they have the best....... capacity for intelligence."

Army: "Look it's Jasper, yeah."

     Eyeball ran up to Jasper.

Eyeball: "Jasper. I am Ruby 1F4 Cut-4ND, I fought in the war for Earth."

Amethyst (J): "Uh, at ease."

Eyeball: "I was on the ground in facet 6 when I heard the tale of the facet 9 kindergarten quartz that could. They said you pumped out of the ground with your helmet on and took out eighty crystal gems before the sun went down. When I found out this mission was to look for you, I nearly dissipate my form. It is, an honor to finally meet you."

Amethyst (J): "Yep, that's me. Always huge, never small, all the- all the time since I was made."

Eyeball: "Wait a minute. You look different than I thought you would."

Pearl: "Oh, here it is."

Amethyst (J): "Oh, you must mean my tan. You know, from the sun."

Eyeball: "..... Stupid Earth sun. Argh, I hate this planet."

Amethyst (J): "Curse this planet."

     All the rubies came over to kick the ground.

Doc: "Well it's a good thing we finally found you. Yellow diamond is awaiting your return. We'll take you back to home world right away."
