"Think your friends are surprised," Maya said as Josh looked behind him.
The rest of the college was definitely not expecting Josh to bring a high school girl to the dance or at least not someone three years younger than him.
He shook his head as he gave Maya a quick smile.
"They can say what they want. I truly am the luckiest guy in the world tonight," Josh said.
"You can say that again," Joshaya heard a girl answer and turned around.
"Jasmine? How are you?" Maya asked giving her a hug.
"I'm good. Looks like you changed your mind way before she went to college. How are you?"
"Good. I couldn't be better," Maya said.
"You better look afterr her," Charlotte said.
"Why am I always the one being warned?" Josh asked and Maya laughed.
"Calm down Joshua," Maya said.
"New nickname?" Andrew asked.
"Nope. Joshua is actually my first name," Josh said.
"And what was Boing then?" Jasmine asked and Maya threw her arm around Josh's shoulders.
"Boing is my nickname for him, just like Gorgeous is his for me," Maya said.
"We are happy for you two," Jasmine said.
