Chapter 40 - Two Young Hearts

Maya and Josh were at his dorm while they had no idea how to go on.
Maya had no idea how she would feel of she did ruin the Matthews family with them being so close.

"Listen, you shouldn't feel bad. I knew they had to move at some point. That apartment is too small. You have nothing to worry about, Gorgeous," Josh said.
"I hate it when people fight," Maya said.
"I know you do, Sweetie," Josh said pulling her close into him.
"The past few years I thought I would be able to rewind everything. But no. I just think it's one big disaster. I wish I could just let go of everything," Maya said.
"Why don't you then? Singing has always done the job for you. Wanna try it?" Josh asked and Maya nod.

Josh grabbed the guitar as he started to strum giving Maya a good idea of what to expect of what she should sing.
Maya started to hum before she opened her mouth.

"That's it. Feeling any better?" Josh asked and Maya gave Josh a kiss.
"Thank you. I do. You always know what to do. Thank you for being here for me," Maya said and Josh put the guitar down as he moved closer to Maya.
"Always. You don't even have to ask. I'll always be here for you," Josh said.

Josh took Maya in his arms before giving her a passionate kiss.
The kind of kiss which the couple deserves.
One where Maya completely got lost into.
