If you have heard of the Bible, see if you can pick out some scenes from it in here.

*2 weeks later*

I knock on Aizlynn's door. I heard she got a walking cast, and I want to see it.

You know what's funny? To Aizlynn, and Aizlynn only. Next thing I know, somebody's putting their hands on my face. Which means that that shoulders seize up, and I scream. Like a fucking little girl.

Then, she has the audacity to say, "Guess who."

I turn around very slowly. "That... was not funny, Aizlynn."

"Yay, you guessed right!"

"Nice to see you, too," I fake smile, because now my adrenaline is too high.

"I know."

"You're in a good mood."

"I guess. My ankle still hurts, but it's better."

"Good." I give her a quick hug. "You're coming with me."

"What?"

"Your mom gave me permission to take you out."

"Where?"

"You'll have to wait and see," I grin.

I jog down the front steps while she limps with no help from me. I'm a great friend.

"Oh. My Lord. You got a Mustang?"

"Nah, it's actually Caleb's. I just stole it."

"Oh." She frowns, but then quickly covers it up with a smile. "At least I get to go in it."

I climb into the driver's side. She, on the other hand, hops.

"Lettuce leaf!" I yell, and pull out of her driveway.

***

"Ow! Easy!"

I jog over to her side and open the door. She steps out, and we walk over to the water.

"Bringing back memories?"

"Like, when we went skinny dipping?"

"Yeah." I nod. "Like that."

My older brothers, Caleb and Chris, run up the rocks to us.

"Dude!" Caleb calls.

"Aye!" I yell back.

Carter and Ben scale the Mt. Everest.

"What the fu- how many of you are there?" Azzy asks.

I laugh.

"My brain hurts... So, this is all, or..?"

"Yup." Caleb.

"No." Dammit, Chris.

Aizlynn glares at me. "You didn't tell them what we did here, right?"

My face turns red. "No."

"You promise?"

"Yes, I swear to God."

"Why are you blushing, then?"

"'Cause you said that really loud."

Caleb bursts into a fit of laughter after a moment of silence.

I cover my face.

"You- you know. Do you realize... what- what that sounded like, right?" Caleb wipes a tear from his cheek.

I groan. "It's not what you think."

"That's what she- she said right before-"

"Shut the hell up, Caleb! Oh, my fuck. Jesus Christ."
