It was yours and Gars one year anniversary.....but you couldn't celebrate. A coworker of yours decided to pretend to be sick, and have you cover her shift. The reason you knew she was faking was because she pulled this eight different times. You made a mental vow to call your boss, once they were back from vacation. You made sure to leave out his present for him, before you left.
Gar came home from the tower, and made a beeline towards the shower. Dick had everyone train for five hours in different fighting styles. By the time Gar got him he was sweaty, sticky, and over all, felt gross. He didn't even have a chance to see his gift laying on the bed.
After a long shower he made his way back to the bedroom, only to see the video game he had been talking about for the past three months.
