It's been rough for awhile, but Dawn stood by your side. She left for a week once, but it wasn't long, and you were fine on your own.
Now here you were, sitting across from the doctor, Dawn beside you, again. This time it was to see if your chemo was working and shrinking the lump down any.
"I'm glad to say that your chemo is working. The lump has gone down nine percent. If you keep up, and it goes down another five percent we'll be able to extract it"
In that moment you and Dawn felt like you could breathe again.
