"Stay close, y/n," Bakugo said for about the hundredth time since the attack began.

"I know, shut up," I replied, a frown basically glued to my face as we walked, both of us looking around with hawk-like vision, not allowing a single shadow to be left unnoticed. Especially after what Mandalay had told us five minutes ago through her telepathy:

"Everyone, two villains have attacked us, it's possible that there's more out there. Return to camp immediately and do not engage any enemies!"

I continued looking around until I sensed someone nearby.

"Bakugo, get ready," I told him seriously, we stopped walking and stood back to back, looking left and right and standing ready to fight.

"Kota! Kota! I really hope you can hear my voice... Hurry up and come to camp!"

Sounds like the kid has gone missing as well. What terrible timing...

"This is so stupid," Bakugo growled, one of his hands sparking. I took it in my own and just stood straight.

"Don't," I told him, "Be patient because the person approaching could be someone from our class or class B so just be wary. Also, stay calm so you can make rational decisions, OK?"

"Sorry I can't come to you... I don't know where you always run off to, but forgive me and please get back home fast!"

Bakugo inhaled calmly and exhaled before I felt him nod.

"You're right," he replied, "sorry about that."

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I looked down to see I've missed a few messages from my grandpa. From what I can see, my parents are at our house with Eina.

"Hey focus on what's around us, y/n, not your phone," Bakugo hissed.

"Right, sorry," I nodded before someone finally came out of the bushes. It was an orange-haired kid from Class B and behind him was gas slowly moving in.

"Damn," we both walked over to the kid just as he dropped to the floor unconscious, I placed my index and middle finger against his wrist and then his neck to see he has a moderately steady pulse.

"Come on, we need to get him and ourselves out of here," I told Bakugo, he snarled and pulled the kid onto his back before we started walking again, but faster in hopes, we could out walk the gas that was now moving quickly towards us.

Eventually, we found ourselves completely drowned in the gas. I pulled my crop top off and ripped it in two, tying one piece around the class B kids nose and mouth and then the other around Bakugo.

"What about yourself?" he asked, I gestured to my eyes that were glowing green.

"It's not much but I'm turning back time around my face, I can't just get rid of the whole thing because whatever the source of this smoke is, is still running," I replied, "it'll do for now."

He frowned before nodding and walking beside me, avoiding looking at my torso at all costs. This is just embarrassing now. Second time that he can see my body, excluding the sport festival because that was just Mona's acids fault.

"What's that?" I muttered, putting my hand over my eyes as if I was shading them from some invisible sunlight and it would help me see the figure ahead even better.

It was a person. They were kneeling over something.

"The fuck are they doing?" Bakugo grumbled, glaring at the sight, "take this kid."

"No," I shook my head, "hold onto him, I'll settle this."

"But--" Bakugo started, I shot a glare at him which forced him to sighed and nod as I walked ahead.

"Hello?" I called out, the figure came more visible, a man in a straight jacket. Did he just walk out of an asylum? Not only that but the thing he was kneeling over was an arm.

"Bakugo," I called, "who was in front of us?"

"Uh-- Tokoyami and Shoji I think," he replied grimly, I looked at the arm and then the man.

"So pretty," suddenly a voice came from the person in front and I stepped back a bit, my body starting to tremble, there's...blood.

I shook my head, it's not a lot, its just...ketchup?

"No. This is work," the man continued to mutter, creepy... "so alluring, but can't..."

He started to stand up.

"But it's so delicious," he continued, I stepped back again, my eyes wide, "and beautiful flesh."

He groaned before swinging around and looking at us.

"Don't tempt me," he continued, his face was basically all covered except form his mouth, his teeth were sharp taggers glowing slightly under the Moonlight, pins were holding his mouth open like he was getting ready for a dentist to take a look at them.

"I have a job to do," he finished, now completely aware of us.

"What the..." I trailed off.

"Fuck," Bakugo finished before he grabbed me and pulled me right back, "stay by my side. This guy is clearly not normal."

"Duh," I replied with an eye roll, I glanced up at Bakugo to see him with wide fearful eyes but a giant agitated grin on his face.

"No fighting?" he asked, "is that the rule? Hold this bastard."

He pushed the class B kid into my arms and stood in front of me, clicking his knuckles as he passed.

"Careful, Bakugo," I warned him, pulling the kid onto my back as much as I could. He's not the lightest feather in the pile, that's for sure.

"Don't you worry," Bakugo replied, "after all this..."

He suddenly got a crap tone of confidence and looked at me over his shoulder.

"Go on a fucking date with me," he demanded, I just looked at him in shock.

"Idiot," I exhaled a laugh before moving out of his way but staying out of the mist.

I'll go on a date with you, but first we have to survive this nightmare.
