Note: so, I just wanted to say this in case if I never mentioned it before, I've only played Assassin's Creed II and currently playing Assassin's Creed III so if anyone requests that is not one of the two you will have to be very specific so that I know what I need to write.

Lucrezia's brows furrowed together, glaring at the child playing alongside the child's father. Cesare laughs, chasing after a squealing Y/n from her father's "intimidating" form. He playfully caught her and started to tickle her sides making Y/n's squeals grow louder.

"Oh, sweet Y/n!" Cesare dramatically shouts, hand against his heart, "You have captured my heart and soul. May I love you forever and ever?" Y/n laughs, flinging her arms around his neck.

"Yes, Papa! Yes! You can!" Y/n giggles.

Cesare laughs along, pulling Y/n closer to him.

That is the last straw. Lucrezia had enough of the child's sweet relationship with her father. Cesare is hers, not the child's. A plan started to form in Lucrezia's mind and smiled. Yes. It's the perfect plan.

 ~That night~

Cesare tossed Y/n on the bed and she bounced on the springy bed.

"Tell me a story!" Y/n pleaded, tugging on her father's shirt.

"Lay down first then I'll tell you a story," Cesare told her, "If you don't, I'll have a heart attack and die." Y/n gasps then flung her arms around his neck.

"No! Don't die!" She started to cry.

"Then get to bed. Go on." Cesare nudged the child to slip into bed.

"Alright. Once upon a ti-" the story is cut short by banging on the door.

Cesare got up to answer it, he found a guard on the other side and unfortunately had to leave with the guard. He gave Y/n an apologetic smile then shut the door.

Y/n pulled the covers over her head, missing her father's comforting presence. She eventually fell asleep after attempting to stay awake.

The window quietly swung open, two figures slipped inside the child's bedroom. Y/n stirred awake, blinking several times when she saw blurry shadows from under the covers.

"Papa?" Y/n pulled the covers down then shrieks.

~To Cesare~

                                                                        "SHE'S BEEN WHAT?!" Cesare shouts.

                                                                          Y/n's nanny cowered in fear.

"S-she's been kidnapped, sir," the nanny stutters, "I-I heard her shriek and crashing. I-I ran to her bedroom and saw the room destroyed and trampled. The window was broken from the outside."

Cesare started to pace back and forth in worry, Lucrezia trying to distract him from his worry.

"Hush. It's okay." Lucrezia told Cesare, rubbing soothing circles on her brother's chest.

Cesare shoved Lucrezia away from him, scowling.

"Our child is missing, Lucrezia!" Cesare exploded, "And you do not worry about her?! What type of mother are you!?"

Cesare turns to leave and didn't return.

The hunt for Y/n is more important to the father than his own sister and his love for his sister. He caught word of some slave owner shipping a group of children off to Spain and Y/n is one of the children. He and a group of soldiers ambushed the convoy that carried the children.

                                                                                 "Papa!" A voice calls out.

Cesare's eyes landed on a small figure behind bars of a small cage. He broke the lock and pulled the child out of the cage and cradled her in his arms as she cried.

"Mama ordered two guards to take me," Y/n cried, "I wanna go home, Papa! I wanna see Mama gone!"

Cesare tucked Y/n's head under his chin.

"And we will see it done." Cesare promised Y/n."

~Days later~

Y/n hid behind Cesare's legs as she watched guards wrestle her mother inside a carriage and the carriage leaves once her mother is forced inside. Cesare gently pats Y/n's head.

"Now," said Cesare, "How about we spend some time together?" Y/n eagerly nodded.

I'm sorry if Cesare and Lucrezia aren't exactly how they are in the game. I did some research to get a better idea of the two, but it's hard writing someone that I don't know very well. I did my best.
