Davian

Davian sat at the island, doing work on his laptop. He'd been in all day, talking to designers and going over contracts. Things were really starting to progress and come up for him. He thanked God for bringing him so far.

"Hey babe." Cearra kissed Davian's cheek. "I'm going to the office. I'll probably be coming in late tonight."

"Tonight is dinner night Cearra." Davian looked at her. "We do it every Friday. You know this. Today is your off day."

"I know babe, I'm so sorry." Cearra sat down next to him. "We're working on a big case so it's important that I be there."

Davian was tired of holding back. He wanted to get his feelings off his chest.

"Look, Cearra, for the past few weeks you've been so busy with work and the wedding; we haven't spent any time together. You put work before anything. How are you going to do that if you want a family? It's time for you to get your priorities together Cearra. This ain't it."

Cearra looked at him with sadness in her eyes, she didn't say a word. She grabbed her cup from the counter before leaving to walk out the door. Davian sighed, closing his laptop. He grabbed his from the counter and called Mia.

"Hey." she answered.

"Are you home? I need to talk to you about some."

"I'll be home later, you can come over then."

"Okay. Call me then."

"Okay."

Davian hung up. During the time being he decided to leave and go to his mom's house. He had nothing else to do anyway. He had way too much on his mind to just sit around.

Mia

Mia sat in a booth at TGIF, waiting for someone. Due to the news she received last week, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She decided to hunt down her long lost brother, his name was Roman. Lucky for her, he stayed only an hour away. She couldn't believe that her mom didn't tell them, but she told their dad. Every time Mia brought it up, she brushed it to the side.

"Mia?"

"Roman?" she stood up to properly greet him.

He smiled a little. "Yes, it's me."

    Mia shook his hand

Mia shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you."

They both sat down in the booth. For a moment, Mia didn't know what to say. What do you say to your twenty seven year old long lost brother? But she was more excited than anything.

"Thank you for deciding to meet me. It means a lot." Mia said. "I just wanted to get to know you."

"How did you learn about me?" Roman got straight to the point. He didn't waste any time.
