It was all perfect,
Walking on solid ground,
My troubles were only as bad as they could get.
The scene changed
Solid ground became clouds,
Just empty space,
The wind whistling in my ear,
Flying through my hair
Closing my eyes,
I opened up
And enjoyed the fall,
I enjoyed it too much
Because the mirror shattered,
And I was in darkness.
Freezing cold water shocked my whole body
Invaded my senses,
I was sinking,
And alone
Darkness became my ally.
Maybe I was there for too long,
Insanity finally taking over,
Because as if right on cue,
Their voices boomed in my head,
And all I could have done,
Was listening to them,
I watched as the light became dimmer,
Yeah, I was sinking.
Right then and there
It was over
I gave in.
