Part 25: see you later

I woke up the next morning at around 6, I couldn't sleep because of what joe had told me and because my best friends were leaving. I walked to the twins room to ask if they were packed. I walked in and I saw Jason sleeping and joe gone. "Jason wake up" I said as I threw a pillow at him. "Whattttttt" he said. "Where's joe?" I asked. "I don't know I thought he was here." Jason says. "Well we better find him side y'all have to leave in 2 hours" I say. "Ok, I'll stay here and pack and you look around to see if you see him" Jason said. "Ok so I do all the funding you pack?" I say. "Yep" Jason says. "Ok fine but I'm getting Jackson to help" I say walking out of the room. I walk into my room to see Jackson on his phone. "Hey" I say. "Hey" he replies. "So joe is kinda missing and we need to go find him" I say. "Oh ok, wait what" Jackson says. I explain everything about joe kissing me and how he wasn't in his room. "Wait, do you like joe?" Jackson asks nervously. "No, I like you" I say hugging Jackson. "Ok" Jackson says with a smile. We get dressed and walk around trying to find joe. After a good 30 minutes me and Jackson sat down at a bench. "We need to find him" I said. "I know but we also need a break we've been looking for half an hour" Jackson says. "Your right but I can't just give up" I said as I got up. "I'm gonna go look for him you can stay here or look around" I said. "I'll stay here and tell you if I see him" Jackson said. I walk away and start to think about where joe could be. I then realized that joe always found a quiet place to think when a situation happens. So I went to the part of the beach were no one really goes to. I walk around for a while when I see joe sitting like this (I didn't know how to explain it) :

I walked up behind joe and hugged him. He looked up and I could see tears in his eyes. "Joe, what's wrong" I asked. "I-it's nothing" He says. "Joe I know damn well that your not crying over nothing" i say. "I-i feel like I ruined our friendship, I ruined everything" he says looking down again. "No no no joe, you didn't ruin anything, I know it may be a little awkward but I'm not gonna lose my best friend over a crush" I said, "plus I will help you find a better girl then me." "O-ok" Joe said trying to smile. "Now let's start going back because you have to leave in an hour" I say. "I don't want anyone to see me crying though" joe said. "Ok so we can sit here for a little and then go back" I say sitting down. "Ok" joe said. We sat there for s little bit, we talked and brought up old memories. "Joe we have to go back now are you ok?" I asked. "Yea, because your my best friend" joe said with a smile. We got up and walked back the house. Jason gave joe a hug and joe went up to his room to pack. "Where was he?" Jason asked. "He was in a little area, that no one really goes to" I said. "Thanks for finding him" Jason said. "Anytime" I said with a laugh. The twins got packed while I texted Jackson to come back to my house. He came over and I told him that I found joe. After 30 minutes the twins had to leave. I called Hannah and she came and picked us up. "So the twins are leaving?" Hannah asked. "Yep" Jason replied. "Well it was nice to get to know them, even though I'll probably see them when I visit Washington." Hannah said. "It was nice to get to know you too" joe said. After 10 minutes we made it to the airport. I got out of the car and tried to hold back my tears. Jason and joe said bye to Hannah and Jackson. Then they came to me. I hugged Jason and a tear rolled down my cheek. "Awww don't cry or I'm gonna cry" Jason said. "I'm not crying, my eyes are just sweating" I said with a small smile. "Bye y/n, I'll see you soon" Jason said. "Bye Jason, wuv you" I said. "Wuv you too" Jason said before walking in the airport. (Wuv you = the way they say love you, in a friend way)
Then it was time to say goodbye to joe. I ran over and gave joe a huge hug. He almost fell but caught himself. We hugged for a little, I had tear streaming down my face. "I'm gonna miss you" joe said. "Me too" I said. "Hey, I'll see you in a few weeks" joe said. "I know, but I don't want you to leave your my best friend" I said looking up at him. "I have to but when you come to Washington I'll make sure you'll have tons of fun ok?" Joe said. "Ok" I said with a smile. I hugged him one more time before he had to leave. "Bye joe wuv you" I said. "Wuv you more" joe said before he entered the airport. I turned around and hugged Jackson. "Hey, it's ok" Jackson said, "do you wanna watch movies all day today?" "Yes" I replied. We got into Hannah car and I laid my head on Jackson's shoulder while he held my hand. We made it back home, I showered and changed into some sweatpants and Jackson's hoodie. When I came out of the bathroom I saw this set up on my floor:

I walked over to Jackson and said "aww did you really build me a blanket fort?" "Yes i did" he said with a smile. I gave him a kiss and then we sat down. "Aww and you popped popcorn" I said with a smile. "Of course, what's a movie without popcorn" he said with a laugh. I laughed and then said, "damn I must have been in the shower for a long time." "Yea, you were in there for like 40 minutes but I had time to set up all this so it's fine" he said. "Dude I have the best boyfriend ever" I said. "I know" he said with a laugh. We turned on a movie and cuddled up together. I fell asleep on his chest, while he played with my hair. He fell asleep a little later.
