Y/N POV

"Will Byers..." I sang in a whisper. "Will? Will wake up."

I shook Will's shoulder lightly. We had fallen asleep listening to the rain. We were out for about two hours and the rain had fully stopped.

"Will. Get up. I'm hungry," I pouted.

"Then go eat." he said plainly, rolling over.

"I don't think you realize where we are," I say sarcastically. "Plus, we're low on granola bars and I need real food."

He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Ok, I'm up. So where exactly are we supposed to get food?"

"I was thinking we could raid the grocery store. Ooh, no! What about Benny's? I could really go for a burger right now..."

"But what about the monster?"

"That's what I'm for," I smiled. "I've got weapons."

I got up and walked over towards the entrance of the small fort.

"C'mon, I've got another seat."

Will followed me outside, "Y/n, have you seen how big that creature is? You definitely can't just kill that thing with a pocket knife!"

"Well, at least I can run fast," I shrugged.

He grabbed my arm.

"Y/n I'm serious..."

"So am I," I gently pulled my arm away and got onto the bike. "Now let's go, I'm starving."

"Y/n..." He looked at me with widened eyes, ones full of worry. "How are you so calm and nonchalant right now? Look at where we're at! This is not our Hawkins this-."

"I don't know, okay?" I defend, standing up from the bike. "But we can't just sit around panicking or moping or hiding in fear, because it's not going to get us out of here."

We both sighed as he sat down on the front seat.

"Can I at least get us there? You can give me the directions."

"Yeah, sure."

I climb onto the passenger seat and wrap my hands around Will's waist. I could feel him tense up a bit, but he quickly relaxed.

"Let's go."

Fifteen minutes later, we arrived at Benny's. It looked like every other building here, covered in thick vines and was pretty much deteriorating from the outside. I shuddered at the sight and climbed off my bike.

"Damn it!" I exclaimed, pulling and pushing on the door handle.

"What is it?"

"It's locked!"

"Shit."

"Wait..."

Will followed me as I walked around to the back of the building and tried the back door.

"Nope, still locked," I sighed.

I dropped to ground and started searching frantically.

"Y/n, what are you doing?"

"Looking for a rock."

"Y/n, we can't break into Benny's."

"Will we're not in Hawkins, so it doesn't really matter what we do," I laughed. "And we need to eat, or at least find some water. So can you please just help me?"
