HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So. I am knee deep in yet another fandom. I'm not even fourteen. How the hell does this keep happening. I regret nothing. Also, homo Nino pic. I ship him with Alia, but meh. ALSO ALSO,

We're doing narrative writing in class and my teacher started up the crazy challenge. Almost every day, we have to write a short narrative, based on a topic she gives us...

AND WE HAVE A 500 WORD LIMIT. I mean, excuse me? I'm not too bad at it, but seriously??? Not even 600??? WHY????

*Exhales.*

Sorry. Had to vent. *mutters* Stupid teacher and her stupid challenges. (JK she's great.)

ON WITH THE STORY!!!

*awkward silence*

SERIOUSLY? I THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH YOU!

Nico's POV

"Wait, why isn't there a password?" asked Will as he stared at the bronze knocker of the Ravenclaw commons.

"You have to answer a riddle to get in." said Piper, re-adjusting the strap of her backpack. "I fail a lot, but Hazel usually gets them right." Hazel shrugged.
"They aren't that hard." Piper rolled her eyes, and walked up to the knocker. Grabbing the bronze ring, she banged it against the dark-stained door.

The bronze eagle cracked one beady eye open.
"Why strive for perfection if it's unattainable?" Hazel mused for a moment.
"Because we like to think that we can achieve something unattainable." The eagle nodded approvingly.
"Well said." The door swung open.

"Wow Haze," I chuckled, fixing my sleeve. "I didn't expect you to be so existential." Hazel scoffed.
"And I didn't expect you to be gay." she said looking at me.
"Touche."

Piper laughed, and lead us into the common room. Unlike the Slytherin commons, the room was quite light and airy. The walls were a creamy white, and decorated with various paintings. There were little chambers to the side, which were filled with bookshelves. I glanced up at the ceiling, and true to Hazel's word, it was covered in a stunning mural of the night sky.
"Woah," I muttered as I stared up at the dome. Hazel beamed.

"Alright boys, follow us." Piper lead us across the common room toward one of the library-chamber things. I ducked my head as we walked across the open space. To say that the rest of the school were hostile toward Slytherins was an understatement, and I had no idea how these guys would react to us being in their common room. We got a few looks, but overall, not much.

"You don't have to worry." said Selena, making me jump. God, that girl appeared out of nowhere. "We understand that not all Slytherins are bad." I scanned the room, and caught a first year staring at us. Seeing me notice; she coughed, and returned to her book blushing.
Selena chuckled. "Well, mostly."

I walked under the golden archway that opened to the library thing.
"There should be a book on Horcruxes here somewhere..." muttered Piper, walking over to a bronze ladder. Selena frowned.

"What are you looking for? I might be able to help." I paused scanning the shelves, and avoided eye contact with the others. Piper froze.

Hazel laughed. "Nothing much... just things that can destroy dark objects." Selena's eyebrows drew together.
"All four of you?" I nodded.
"Yup." She gave us a weird look, but nodded.
"Okay, this way then."

Will gave a disbelieving chuckle, and followed the freckled girl. I walked up to him, and leaned in to his ear.
"What are the odds she could help us?" I asked quietly. Will chuckled.
"Pretty low, and this is from a guy who knew." I gawked at him.
"You knew she'd be able to help us?" He looked away embarrassed, and mumbled something along the lines of 'Well kinda...'.

"Are you guys coming or not?" asked Selena turning around. I realised that all of us were standing there watching Selena walk away like a bunch of idiots. Hazel nodded, and jogged over to Selena, with the rest of us close behind.

"Here." she said pulling a blue leather volume from the shelves. "This is the closest you'll get to dark magic in Hogwarts, one of the seniors snuck it from the library for us." she said handing it over. "Make sure you return it, or David might never forgive me." she chuckled, her ears going pink. I felt a smile slip onto my face.

"David?" I asked biting my lip. Selena's eyes widened at the mention of this guys name, and she looked away blushing.
"Ooo! Has someone got a crush?" asked Piper, her eyes gleaming.
"W-what? No!" said Selena, her face turning crimson. I laughed.
"Sorry, Selena. Now you've got Piper on your case, there is no escape." the daughter of Aphrodite's face turned cynical, and she turned to me with a raised eyebrow.
"What was that?"
"You heard what I said." Piper rolled her eyes, and turned back to the black-clad girl.

"Oh but that is so cute!" she cooed, surveying Selena's reaction. Hazel laughed.
"Give the girl some space, Pipes. Besides," she said with a cheeky grin. "We have all night to interrogate her." Will laughed, and I smiled softly at his reaction.

"Solangelo." said Piper quietly, pointing to us. My eyes widened, and I stared at my shoes. And to my horror, I felt my face heat up.

"Nico!" sang Will poking his finger into my cheek. "Why are you blushing?" I looked up and saw that our faces were centimetres apart. He was smirking, and I could count the freckles on his nose.
"Shut up Solace." I glared at him, and pushed his face back with a single finger. Will laughed, and took my hand.

"Aw." said Piper in a clipped tone. I looked at her.
"You good Pipes?" the choppy-haired girl shook her head.
"Not in the slightest." Hazel laughed.
"What happened to the Piper who hated being Aph-" she caught herself, and glanced at Selena with wide eyes. "I-I mean being her mother's daughter."
"There are too many cute ships to care anymore." she said solemnly, staring at us intently.

Selena chuckled, and shook her head. "I will never understand you four." she sighed quietly.

I smiled, and took the book from Hazel.
"Mind if we take this? We'll ask Monica whether she's okay with us getting rid of the horcrux." Hazel nodded.
"Wait, what about Monica?" asked Selena suspiciously. I tightened my grip on Will's hand.

"Nothing." said the blond boy. "She was just really upset today, ya know, about Cayden." Selena's expression fell, and she nodded. "Uh, and we've gotta go. Essay to work on."
"Alright. See you two later." Hazel and Piper waved us goodbye as we turned around.

I tugged Will toward the exit, and we fell into a comfortable silence as we walked down the corridors of Hogwarts.
"Can I have a look at that book?" asked Will nodding toward the volume I had tucked under my arm. I nodded, and passed the book to Will.

"So," I stared as he opened the book. "What do you think of Selena's crush?" Will gave a quiet laugh, and turned to me.
"I don't care who she has a crush on," he said stopping. I stopped with him, and he turned to me. "As long as you don't end up falling for them." He said, leaning closer to my face until I could feel his breath ghosting on my lips. I blushed lightly, but rolled my eyes.

I connected our lips in a kiss, and smiled as Will kissed back. I pulled away smiling.
"Come on, Solace." I said, walking away from Will. "I'm not planning on letting you go any time soon." Will ran to catch up with me, and I smiled when I saw Will blush in my peripheral vision. I grabbed my boyfriends hand, and tugged him toward the Slytherin common room.
