HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about how long this took, I've been more of a mess than usual. Also I heard this song in a edits video and I am now obsessed.

ON WITH THE STORY CAUSE I'M LAZY AND SHIZ!

.......................

Nico's POV

Stares followed the four of us as we followed Amycus across the courtyard. But I didn't pay attention to them. A range of thoughts ran across my mind, none of them pleasant. There was a million ways that this could go wrong, and none of them seemed to be the favourable option. I suppose that if we did get into trouble, our training should be enough to help us, but we couldn't blow our cover. But what if we didn't have a choice?

I glared at the death eater's back -gods what a stupid name. What is it with Wizards and stupid names?

Amycus came to a stop in front of a looming stone doorway. He stepped to the side, and leered at us.
"Well? Go in." he said staring at me. I stared back at him. His eyes were almost like Snape's. The type of cold black that made you shiver. Depth with no warmth. But unlike the headmasters, Amycus's weren't empty. The almost had a maniacal glint in them. Poised and ready to start a fire, torture a student, or kill countless people without a second thought.

I broke away from his gaze, and stepped into the room. Despite the cold, there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were two windows, but both had heavy black curtains pulled over them. The only light in the room came from a small gap in the curtains, through which a ghostly pale beam of light fell onto the dusty black desk.

An echoing bang drew me out of my observations, and I turned to look at Will. He raised his eyebrow at me. I shrugged. Nothing to worry about yet. Amycus walked behind the desk, and stared at us with a raised eyebrow.

"Were you four," he licked his lips. "Expecting something by any chance?" Piper shot me a look. I shook my head, a bit confused.
"Uh, no?" said Hazel. He surveyed us for a few moments, before smiling.

"Are you sure about that?"
"Pretty sure." said a confused Will. Amycus's smile slipped off his face, immediately being replaced with a sour expression.

"Do you think you can lie to me and get away with it?" he said glaring at us. I scoffed and crossed my arms.

"Look, you asked us whether we were expecting something, and we said no. What possible motive could we have to lie to you?" Piper nodded, whereas the other two glanced at us, worried.

His jaw clenched, but he said nothing. After a few moments of silence, he walked over to a cupboard, and pulled out a parcel. He set it down on the table, and turned to me.

"Well?" he said irritably. I glared at him, but then walked forward and took the package off the table. Hazel walked up to me, and stared at the writing on it. It was unidentifiable.

"Hecate?" she suggested. Will shrugged and took the package from me. He looked at it for a moment, and frowned.
"They're necklaces." he said his eyebrows furrowing. My eyes widened. Turns out I underestimated the control Will had over his powers. He unraveled the string, and pulled out a polished box. Piper picked it up, and turned it over. One the back was an engraving of a pomegranate tree.

"Yup. Hecate sent it." I muttered.
"What language are you speaking?" said Amycus harshley.
"Greek." said Hazel, without looking up from the box. The sound of chair legs scraping across the floor filled the room for a brief moment, before Amycus was in front of us with his arm held out.

"Give me the box now!" The four of us stared at him, and Hazel handed it over. He whirled around and placed it on his desk. "So. I don't know if you four can tell, but the headmaster has a problem with this package." Uh, yeah. We can tell. "It's gives off a different type of magic. Which shouldn't be possible. So tell me," He leaned forward. "What is in the box." Will chuckled nervously, and looked at me.

"Uh, would it help you if we opened it?" asked Piper almost laughing. He glared at her, but then handed over the box. She lifted off the lid to reveal four necklaces. Just like Will had said.

It was clear who's was who's though. One of them had an amethyst set in it, another had obsidian. Hazel and I. The other two had gems I couldn't remember the name of, but one was red and the other was a yellowish gold. Piper and Will.

"Why in hell would you be sent necklaces?" he asked sounding confused. I shrugged.
"No idea." The metallic ringing of the bell flooded through the room.
"Uh, we kinda have class, so..." Will trailed off. Amycus growled, but let us leave.

As soon as we were out of the door, Piper burst out laughing and Hazel and Will exchanged bewildered glances. I sighed, and looked down at the box.
"Geez, all that because of a package?" I shuddered. Turns out this Voldemort guy was stricter than we realized. We started walking down the hallway, toward our next class. History of Magic.

"That was enlightening." said Hazel quietly. Will looked at her confused.
"What do you mean?"
"Well," she said slowly. "We learnt that our magic lets off a different trail than normal magic. Which means the teachers might be able to tell that Nico and I have been shadow travelling." I groaned. Great. The last thing that we needed was people finding out we could do different magic.

"So I guess this means using portals to talk to the gods is out of the question?" Hazel nodded. Will took my hand and started rubbing circles into it.

"Oh well. But we have a bigger problem. We know what the horcrux is, but how in hades are we supposed to destroy it?" said Piper rubbing her forehead. We fell silent.

Hecate's note said something about a wizard who used to be headmaster, and we'd learned about him in her lessons... but what was his name? I sighed, and started to fiddle with my promise ring.

"What was the name of that guy..." I waved my hand around. "The old headmaster?" I asked as the History of Magic classroom came into view. Hazel frowned.
"Albus Dumbledore?" I nodded.
"I could talk to his spirit, it wouldn't be too hard." Will frowned.
"Nico-"
"Do you have a better idea?" I asked him dully. He looked at me for a moment, and sighed.
"No."
"Exactly."

"It's a starting point." said Piper. "But don't forget we have to hide it soon. We don't want Monica going crazy." Hazel nodded.

"But on another note," continued Piper. "I kind of forgot to write that essay that Binns wanted..."
I groaned, and Hazel shook her head.
"Come on Piper! You used to be so much more focused on the Argo." she said disapprovingly. Piper chuckled.

"Don't worry." I spun around to see a grinning Divani, with Selena in tow. "I forgot too." she turned to Selena. "Can we read yours S? For inspiration?"

Selena groaned.
