"911, What is your emergency?"
"I am currently sitting next to the little boy you're looking for. He is safe, for now, but If no one comes to get him quick enough, I will be be forced to do something unspeakable to his kidnappers."
"Sir we-"
The line went dead leaving the operator to do her job, but he already knew they weren't going to be fast enough.
He stared down at the small boy, their eyes meeting for a brief moment.
"Castiel? Is that your name?"
The little boy nodded, a smile forming on his lips. It made him frown, how could someone want to hurt such a small thing?
He traced a finger across Castiel's cheek, over the purple bruise under his right eye.
"I'm gonna call you, Cas. I think Castiel's too long."
The little boy giggled, even with such a bruise Castiel had hope, too much of it.
"Angel! You are angel!" Castiel giggled again, his eyes lighting up.
It made him chuckle, "Whatever floats your boat kid."
He took Castiel's left arm, using his thumb to rub the inside of his wrist.
"This is going to hurt, but you have to be brave, alright?"
He almost felt bad, bad for what was about to happen.
"I am BRAVE!" Castiel said with a smile.
He nodded, mumbling some incantations, his thumb moving in a circular motion..
Black lines began to form on the child's wrist. He could feel his own lines forming on himself, under his clothes and on his chest.
"It's time for a nap." He pressed two fingers up to the child's forehead and watched him fall back onto the floor.
His eyes studied the new mark he had left.

-NOW-
"Alright, I've just finished with the last one, I'm going home."
Castiel called out to the back of the shop, a head poking out a few seconds later.
"Cassie, you're gonna leave me?? With THEM?!" Gabriel gasped, a look of betrayal clear on his face.
"Yeah yeah, If I stay any longer I'll pass out of exhaustion, plus I've got that test tomorrow."
Castiel slipped on his coat, while two more heads joined Gabriel, Balthazar's and Lucifer
"We've got that test tomorrow too, Does it escape your understanding that we all go to the same school?" Balthazar shot at Castiel.
The blue eyed boy, shrugged, "No, but at least one of us studies for it, plus Lucifer doesn't go to school. He's old."
"HEY! I'M NOT THAT OLD." Lucifer called after Castiel.
The boy ignored them, leaving the diner and passing by a few new customers.
"Hello." He smiled politely, then responding with a nod.
