" Jules!" Tawag sa akin ni Gino. Ang ganda ng ngiti niya. Ang guwapo niya din tignan. Kitang kita ko ang kanyang magarang sasakyan na ngayon ay iba na naman. " What school did you come from?" Tanong ulit ni mama. Ano ba talaga ang gustong tanungin ni mama.

" Sa States po tita. But I decided to trasfer in the Philippines since I need to be handled first hand by my father with regards to the business we have as of the moment" Magalang na sagot ni Gino kay mama. Tumango naman si mama bago muling nagsalita.

" Really, well that's great. Your uncle, Cedric Ayala has been our closest business partner. I am happy to meet you then, Gino. I am happy that you get to be friends with my daughter" Nakangiting saad ni mama. But I know better than those smiles my mother is giving Gino and Gino is keen to understand it.

" Huwag po kayong mag-alala ma'am, my reasons are pure in pursuing your daughter. Alam ko pong alam niyo na hindi lamang po pagkakaibigan ang hinahangad ko para sa amin ng anak niyo. I may be needing to face Mr. Carson soon but no matter what he thinks of me, I'll prove that my conscience are clear when it comes to your daughter" Saad ni Gino. My mom smiled.

" That's the Spirit, Darling. I'm starting to like you. Don't worry Luke might be so serious and unapproachable when you base it on face value but I assure you that he has a good heart and he knows it when he sees one too." Wika ni mama.

" Wait ma, ano bang sinasabi niyo po" I can't believe their talking about this matter right in front of my face.

" Darling, this is the first time a boy besides Miggy is in the house. You can't blame me anak. Masaya lang si mama dahil may manliligaw ka na. I'll tell your tita Sabina about this later. I'm sure she'll be happy about it and I'll surely tell your dad too when I get to be in his office later. " Nakangiting saad ni mama. Gino was just smiling the whole time.
