Prologue

Hi everyone! My name is Jessie and this is the story of how I met the boy who I thought was the love of my life. First though, a bit about me.

My full name is Jessalyn Zanten. Everyone seems to think Jessie is short for Jessica so my teachers often called me that. I used to correct them all the time but they never got it so I just let it be.*Sings at the top of my lungs* SPEAKING WORDS OF WISDOM, LET IT BEEEE!! Sorry...I do that a lot...

Hmm, what else is there about me...
Oh yeah! My mum is Italian and my dad is Indian, so my skin is coffee coloured. My hair is darkish brown, and my eyes are brown as well. I'm not really that tall - about 5ft 6, but I wear heels a lot so I look taller than I am.

I'm also not one of the skinniest girls ever...I mean, I'm not obese but I'm not exactly what you'd call 'thin'. I don't have a flat stomach, or a thigh gap, I'm not a size 2, and I'm most certainly not what most guys want. I've been called 'fat', or at least something along those lines, by pretty much everyone I know - including my parents. I usually never let it get to me - I still wore crop tops and shorts, I still ate chocolate and ice cream, I still told myself I was pretty. All that changed when I let a certain boy into my life...

But enough about that.

Umm, let's see...my hobbies. I love to sing, and act, but I can't really dance. I love cooking and playing video games. I have two older brothers and a little sister. I love Glee more than life and Lea Michele is my absolute idol.
