"So..." I said twiddling my fingers together "how's..Mike?"
Vic raised an eyebrow. "Mike has lived with us for years, he's my brother, and one of your best friends, I'm sure you don't need to ask me to know how he is." He stated obviously.
Well, uh...
Can somebody name other things I can distract him with? Uh..
"Have you died your hair?" Always go for the hair first, it's Vics weak spot.
"No." Damn. "Stop stalling Tony. We're going to talk about Lydia."
So here we were, two grown men, standing alone in a bathroom, talking about a girl. Wow, I feel like a teenager again.
"Why would we do that?" I went for playing dumb.
Vic sighed loudly "you're impossible."
"Thank you?"
"It wasn't a compliment Tony. Now tell me what's going on between you two."
"Between?.." I decided to cut the act when Vic gave me a death glare "I don't know man..."
"There's more to it than that. Spill"
"Uh..we've just kissed a few times, and um..."
"Spill it."
"We seem to keep sleeping together, AS IN SLEEP."
"No sex?"
"No sex." I repeated.
"Good. You know I'm not happy about this, right?" Vic stated.
"Really? I couldn't tell from all the evil looks you keep giving me..."
"She's leaving soon, what will you do then?"
"Uh...Vic your thinking way to ahead of yourself. Sure I'll miss her, but I always knew she was going to leave" great, just keep lying to your best friend...your doing fab tone!
Did I really just say fab?
"Right. So you won't be upset?"
Yep "nope" lies....
"Okay." Vic eyed me suspiciously before leaving the bathroom and I let out a long breathe.
Will I be upset when she leaves?
She promised we'd see each other again, right?
