- volume as low as possible because i know if i drown out the sounds my resolve will crumble

- pillow flipped over because the other side is soaked in tears
- trash bin overflowing with tissues used to wipe away contempt
- bookmarks in every book because it's hard to focus and enjoy something for longer than a few minutes
- i want to wash the grease off of me but it makes me feel heavy and i am chained to the floor
- 'i want this but i don't think i deserve it so i forget about it'
maybe it's something you just can't outgrow
